## What is fltrWallet?

This is your privacy first full Bitcoin wallet using only compact filters for blockchain synchronization. fltrWallet protects your privacy and anonymity. We can import your 12 word wallet from BRD and most others. Thanks to our amazing performance any wallet can be synched several years into the past in a matter of minutes.

We are not like other wallets. Other wallets will reveal your transaction history to a Bitcoin node or worse, a custodial or centralized service. fltrWallet is non-custodial and will always protect your privacy. In fact, we do not even have any service infrastructure of our own. We fully rely on the peer to peer platform of Bitcoin servers and its newly added Compact Filters protocol. This can thankfully be verified using Apple’s new App Privacy Review tool, which uncovers any and all network connections. We use mempool.space for transaction cost estimation.

SwiftUI is the latest and greatest in graphical user interface technology. It enables reactive event flows. Changes on the blockchain or network events such as blockchain synchronization are immediately reflected in the attractive user interface on every screen at once. Gone are the days of refreshing or reloading.

SwiftUI also provides for a cutting edge, lightweight and easy to use user experience. fltrWallet supports screen rotation of Apple iPads and iPhones, as well as windowed mode on iPad, constantly and continuously adhering to the rotation and window space provided. Try it for yourself! We even introduced our own longitudinal/latitudinal coordinate space framework to make interface rotation predictable and intuitive on any device.

When it comes to migrating your legacy wallet, we have you covered. Most Bitcoin Improvement Protocol (BIP) standards are supported. It enables import of most twelve word passphrases, including BRD wallet.

Have you noticed that some apps annoyingly need to be reloaded after having them backgrounded even for the shortest time? fltrWallet is written in Swift, Apple’s native tongue all the way and does not depend on weird runtimes or libraries bogging down the user experience, which is commonly the case for multi platform wallets. Instead, fltrWallet has a minimal footprint and can keep running in the background. It means the app is always responsive and ready to resume just where you left it, even days later.

fltrNode multi peer technology continuously connects to the Bitcoin network over eight connections at once. It monitors the Bitcoin Gossip protocol for transactions, which are instantly reflected in the interface. Dependence on the legacy mempool command has been removed due to fingerprinting issues. This has been left mostly unsolved by competing wallets, leaving their users stranded or even worse, reliant on centralized custodial solutions.

fltrWallet only has one single non-Apple dependency and it is the highly regarded and trusted libsecp256k1 of Bitcoin Core for elliptic curve encryption (ECC). Everything else was written from scratch. It lessens the attack vector of broken third party libraries. It also provides for the unique capabilities of fltrWallet with its incredible resilience and synchronization speed previously unseen. It optimally executes in parallel on all processing cores since fltrWallet was written from the ground up for Apple devices using their premiere programming language Swift. Nothing comes close for the Apple minded Bitcoin aficionado that values usability, performance and security.
