If the pronunciation could be improved to sound more natural and native, I think this would be the perfect app for me. ### 3/5 — Good Content, but "13 languages" feels premature *2026-08-13* The content itself is interesting and useful, but I wish the app gave me more time to think before responding. I often feel rushed, which actually makes me less motivated to use it. The app is advertised as supporting 13 languages, but the experience is clearly not the same across all of them. German conversation practice works, but the UI is still in English. The German level assessment is also extremely basic compared with the thorough English assessment—it mostly just asks which words you know. Even when using German, I often come across references to “English.” Compared with English (and perhaps Spanish), the other languages still seem underdeveloped. As a multilingual learner, I also find it frustrating that I cannot switch between languages within one account. There are also some basic technical issues. When I try to open “Invite a Friend” or “Contact Support,” it takes so long that they ultimately never load. I tried several times, and on one occasion I waited more than 15 minutes for an “Invite a Friend” link to be generated, but it never appeared. I think advertising “13 languages” is premature when the level of support differs this much between languages. The contents of the inquiry form disappear. This company maintains an arrogant attitude, imposing rules that only they can understand on users who don’t get them, and claiming that this is fair. As proof, they sent me a long message and deleted my review, so I have to write this again now. Be careful! they’ll delete anything that’s uncomfortable for them. It’s the worst app with the worst customer support. You’ll just end up stressed out, and you won’t improve your English skills. **Developer response:** We’re sorry this situation has remained frustrating, and we’d like to clarify the facts of your case. Your subscription was purchased directly through Fluently’s website via Stripe, not through the Apple App Store, which is why it does not appear in Apple’s subscription settings. Website subscriptions can be managed and cancelled in the Fluently app via Setting → My Products → Manage subscription. Cancellation is also available through our Help Center or by contacting support. The 30-day period shown for website purchases is our unconditional refund guarantee, not a free trial. Free trials, when available, are separate offers shown before purchase. Your refund request was submitted after the 30-day guarantee period had already ended. Cancelling disables future auto-renewals; it does not reverse a payment that has already been processed. If a new charge is ever made after a confirmed cancellation, our team can review that payment separately. Your support history has not been deleted. If a previous conversation is no longer active, a new chat may open, but the prior interaction remains in our support records. We also reviewed the history of your case. Our support team explained the subscription and refund conditions and continued to respond politely, while asking that the conversation remain respectful when messages became insulting. Nao tem uma um período de teste caso nao contrate o plano porque justamente uma vez que vc usa o app, vê que ele não é muito consistente pra aprendizagem. No teste de nivelamento, vi que corrigem certos erros às vezes e outras vezes não. Não sei se é bug ou intencional. Também vi que o app inventa algumas pronúncias erradas pra gerar mais conteúdo de correção. Não existe uma gravação de você pronunciando aquele som pra comprovar. (Ex. Nunca pronunciei o G do -ing, mas o app disse que fiz). Generic AI, repetitive questions, and poor pronunciation feedback. It failed to correct many obvious mistakes and was not worth the subscription. I requested a refund within hours, yet Apple rejected it twice, and Fluently offered no real solution. Write there and they will help you with all the problems related to the application. ### 1/5 — Do NOT install and subscribe to this app. It is a trap *2026-07-06* This app keep billing me somehow and there is no way to find out where the subscription is set, it don’t show in iCloud subscription neither on Apple Pay pre authorized payments. In the app itself there is no subscription management so I have to cancel my card. If this is not a robbery I don’t know what else it is. **Developer response:** Sorry for the confusion.
