I have a Monos light and I absolutely love it but I moved into a new place then suddenly the app no longer worked. No matter what I did I couldn’t get it connected. It seems like most of the 1 star reviews have this problem but they actually tell you how to fix it in the help section of the app. You have to set your light in recovery mode. It essentially factory resets the whole thing and now the app works like it did previously.

Aesthetically really cool. Just the constant app issues and connectivity issues and update issues far outweighs how cool it looks. They probably needed a couple more years to actually make the product fully functional consistently.

I love this plant lamp SO much but it will not connect again after disconnecting. No matter what I do. Kind of frustrating considering the price. I wanted the larger one too, but not if I can’t connect and use the app.. please fix!

I love these products. They are beautiful in every way. Biggest issue I have is that I’ve discovered if I leave the house or go off WiFi and reconnect my phone to my wifi, the lights won’t connect unless you unplug them and plug them back in. The connection is only last for the duration while you’re home. Once you leave, the connection is broken and you’ll have to unplug and plug them back in to get them connected. It’s a workaround. Albeit not a fun walk around. There has to be a fix that prevents the plants from dropping and not being able to reconnect after you’ve left your home and come back.

I’ve purchased 2 fluoras & one monos. Both Fluoras consistently fail to pair with the WiFi. You will have to call and make an appointment to fix the issue. Troubleshooting and following directions has not worked . The product is great! But the app seems to be lacking. Without the app, the product capabilities are minimal.

I bought 2 Monos lamps as soon as they were available. This is a elegant ambience effect lamp. Unfortunately, the only way to effectively program the colors, pattern, and brightness, is through the app, which never seems to be able to connect to either of my lamps. Additionally, it's frustratingly unable to find the lamps when detecting devices in pairing mode. The function button on the side, which must be held for several seconds, is inconveniently located and takes a good deal of pressure to depress. Maybe V2 of the lamp will be better.

The light itself is incredible. Love it. The software is complete junk. Every time I open up the software to do anything with the lights it reads “ firmware update required”. Literally every single time I go into the software it says this. The app is also very clunky and the images overlap one another on my screen. I have a newer iPhone this should not be an issue. Most of the time I can’t even get the software to recognize my plant, which is sitting right next to me. Please update your software immediately. This sucks.

I own 1 Fluora and 2 Monos lamps. The app and connectivity issues are easily the worst and most frustrating part of owning these devices but, the company is working on it gradually. The issues don’t stop me from buying more Color and Light products personally, I love my Monos! However, it’s something to be aware of. In the current state, you’ll have annoying moments with the lights not responding or connecting to the app.

It’s a guessing game when I open the app to see if they’re even connected and when they release updates they want you to go on your computer and do it which is so dumb and I don’t do that Just release an update through the app also you can’t run these on 5GHz network. It has to be a 2.4 GHz.

Wow, I spent hundreds of dollars on 6 Monos lamps.
I can’t adjust or control them in any way as the app will not recognize the Monos…Bluetooth will not recognize the Monos. This renders the lamp 90% useless.
So frustrating.

My mini floor Plant is so touchy that anytime you touch a stem they flash and you have to sit there and jiggle it in place again even though it’s firmly in! I feel like I have bricks right now because I can’t keep controlling them. Plus my app doesn’t look anything like the images in the preview for the app.

I pair my Monos and Fluora. I have to do a work around to update the Monos because it just doesn’t work on this app. I get it updated. All seems well. Two days later I open my app to change some lighting settings… “Connecting…” and it never does. This app has had problems for so long and it never seems to get better. Such a shame since the products are fun and neat… when you can actually access them.

It is able to pair and update the lighting systems. However, there’s oddly no way to sync two lights to the same settings so that must be done manually. The only way to turn off the lights is via the app - no widgets or Siri Shortcuts support unfortunately. Once all of the above is added I’d give it 5 stars. Unfortunately the lights are pretty limited by the app.

I don't know what i expected but it wasn't this. I have a monos and a floor plant, both are very nice ambiance pieces and I assumed that the same quality would also be reflected in the app. The UI on the connection workflow is busted. The list of networks when you go to connect a device isn't scrollable or pageable, so good luck if your network name doesn't fit within that tiny window, you literally wont be able to use the app. It's like this app was not tested and put through any quality assurance whatsoever.  This experience has negatively affected my image of this brand and its purchase recommendations

I really wanted to like the Fluora Monos, but it has been one of the most frustrating smart devices I’ve ever owned. 

The biggest issue is the constant connection issues. The light repeatedly disconnects from WiFi and requires frequent repairing! Like literally almost everyday. 

I’ve never had more connection issues with a single device. Until the resolve the connection issues I can’t recommend it.

Just like everyone else, connectivity to my Monos is not durable and the light must be power cycled often (which is not very easy to do and will cause unnecessary wear and tear). Scheduling is odd, sliders and light controls are not very responsive. 

The Monos itself is great, but overall user experience and joy of ownership is handicapped by the app.

Connected my floor plant via the app, but that’s all I can do. The only other option the app gives me for my floor plant is to turn it off, but when I tap the power icon, the app crashes/closes.

I’ve really tried to like this product. Unfortunately, it disconnects from the app at least once a week. And many times, reconnecting is a huge pain.

And the app hasn’t gotten any better over the past year. The adjustment sliders are not user friendly. The settings are constantly losing all of the parameters. 

I have no idea how Apple even allows an app of this low quality in its store.

Regretting this purchase!

The Monos is a spectacular home lighting installation right out of Burning Man. 
However, as beautiful as the LED pulses and changes color are, the iPhone app that controls it is buggy and won’t connect to the device or connects and won’t stay connected. I’ve followed the instructions and troubleshooting guide over and over and I’m sorry to say that the app needs work.  
That being said, the default setting is still pretty cool and I’m keeping it anyway. I hope they continue to improve the app and push more updates so it lives up to its full potential.

Seeing a lot of the reviews on this app I was a little scared of how hard my Fluora was going to be to set up. It was extremely easy, it took maybe 3 minutes total to get it to connect, update, and be able to control it off of my phone. I’m not sure if the other posters were reporting problems from earlier in Fluora’s development but at least for me it is almost flawless.

Works perfectly! Keep in mind that not all routers/modems are compatible with fluora app to pair. My old modem a motorolla MG8702 did not work however my netgear/nighthawk works perfectly with the fluora application. I’d also add that the aop allow granular highly detailed controls of the fluora plant which enhances the overall aesthetics. Also customer support is phenomenal!!! Both Aaron & Jake helped me immensely!!!!

This is a great company that cares about their customer base and improvements are coming, just have to be a little patient as they are a small company. They have great customer support which I can attest to that personally. The app is getting better with each update! It’s only getting better from here on in. I have the mini fluora for a year plus now and I’m still very happy with the purchase!

Easy to assemble; Packaging was pragmatic. Having a hole for the power cord on the stool stand is clever. After plugging it into the wall it lights up. An analog button in the pot toggles 8-9 premade patterns. After testing, I moved it, and had my first troubleshoot: flickering leaf! Rotating the steam and compressing the leaf fixed the issue. 

Downloaded the App. Switched my WiFi to 2.4 so it could recognize smart home devices on my Spectrum App. 
Prompted to download firmware. Blue lights, then Green. (Used their FAQs/Help page for guidance) Then I hit the “Ignore” button, and the Control Display appeared.

Overall, amazing first experience with the 2 hours I had with the Mini this evening!

This plant is beautiful and looks AWESOME in my stream setup background! The app controls need a little work, difficult to control at times but not a deal breaker. Other than that it's awesome background ambience with a ton of customizable patterns and colors!
