Flux Browser is a lightweight browser for iPhone and iPad with clear privacy controls, private tabs, and one-hand video tools. CHOOSE EACH PROTECTION LAYER Control ad blocking, tracker protection, known adult-site blocking, and webpage image blocking separately. The Shield shows a best-effort local record of activity Flux can observe. If a site breaks, pause compatible rules for that exact host without turning protection off everywhere. No filter can identify every destination. WebKit may block more requests than Flux can count. OPTIONAL DEVICE-WIDE DNS While active, Flux VIP Monthly keeps setup of an encrypted DNS profile available for filtering known adult and malware domains across apps. Apple handles purchase and subscription management. You must enable the saved profile in iOS Settings. DNS filtering is not a VPN or antivirus and cannot guarantee that every unwanted domain is blocked. Outside Flux, a blocked destination generally appears as a standard network failure rather than Flux’s explanation page. NORMAL, PRIVATE, AND PROFILED BROWSING Keep multiple normal and private tabs. Private tabs use nonpersistent website data and are never restored after relaunch. Named profiles can keep supported cookies, site data, normal tabs, search, and settings separate. VIDEO CONTROLS WITHIN REACH On supported seekable HTML5 video in fullscreen, drag a selected screen edge from top to bottom to seek, then release to resume. Use Flux’s rotate control to request portrait or landscape without changing the system Orientation Lock setting.
