## What is Flux?

Flux is a player for the IPTV subscription you already have. It connects to your panel — Xtream Codes or an M3U list — and lays out your channels, films and series like a properly built app, not a list of links.

Flux provides no content. No channels, no films, no catalogue: the subscription is yours, and you alone reach it.

WHAT FLUX DOES THAT OTHERS DON'T

• Skip the intro. Series title sequences are detected on your device, by comparing the sound of two episodes. No database, no server.

• Real quality. A file labelled "4K" often isn't. Flux opens the stream, measures its resolution, codec and bitrate, and tells you. When a film exists in several copies, it compares them and switches between them without starting over.

• Award winners. Césars, Oscars, Palmes d'Or: browse the winners and see at a glance which ones your subscription carries.

• Search for a person. Type "Coppola": their filmography appears, and what you own is marked.

• Ask in plain language. "a short thriller for tonight" — the search understands. Everything is worked out on the device.

• Pause live TV. Flux keeps the last few minutes, so you can rewind a channel that offers no such thing.

• Know why it failed. When a stream won't start, Flux tells you what the server answered and what it means — expired subscription, connection already in use, dead stream — instead of showing "error".

AND EVERYTHING ELSE

Offline downloads, a whole season or a single episode. Their progress shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. TV guide. Resume to the second. Favourites shared across all your subscriptions. Four channels at once. Parental controls. Adjustable subtitles. Sorting and shuffle. Viewing statistics. Incognito mode. Picture in Picture, Handoff, Spotlight and Siri shortcuts. Program reminders, and alerts when a new episode of a followed series appears.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU

No Flux account. No Flux server. Your credentials live in the device keychain, your history stays on the device, your settings travel through your own private iCloud. Nothing is collected, nothing is sold.

WHAT IT COSTS

Twenty-four hours of trial, everything open. After that, a single purchase unlocks playback for good — no renewal, no expiry date. Browsing, searching, measuring your sources' quality and downloading stay free.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-30

New: the "Up next" prompt now appears when the end credits begin, not a few seconds before the end. Flux learns where the credits start from one episode to the next, as it already did for the opening credits.

Offline, a downloaded film opens from the device without looking for the network, and a series' downloaded episodes stay listed with no connection. Deleting a download now asks for confirmation.

Fixed: confirmation bubbles point to the button you tapped instead of the middle of the screen. "Open in…" and "Copy stream link" pass the stream address instead of a file another app can't open.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-21

New: drag the playback bar and a thumbnail shows the scene you're aiming at, with its timestamp — anywhere in a downloaded film, and across the part of a streamed film that has already loaded.

A failed download now tells you why: not enough storage, connection lost, refused by the server… When storage runs out, a notification lets you know, and a file too large for the device stops right away instead of failing halfway.

Fixed: tapping a recommendation missing from your playlist could close the app on iOS 27. If VLC or Infuse is chosen but not installed, Flux plays the video itself instead of doing nothing. Two memory leaks in playback are fixed.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-19

When a film's file can't be played — a codec your device can't decode, or a truncated file — Flux now switches to another copy of the same film on its own, after a short countdown. The notice names the copy and its version, and “Stay here” lets you decline.

Search now understands questions about what's on, asked in English, even without Apple Intelligence — try “A documentary starting within the hour?”

Fixed: text that still appeared in French is now in English — titles such as “All films”, the Unlock Flux screen, the playlist report, Help and more — and program reminders now arrive in English too.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-05

Channels can finally be added to favorites, whatever your subscription — including M3U playlists, which had none. Long-press a channel, then pick a list or create one. In a list, a long press removes what you saved there.

Tapping a channel now opens its details: the schedule day by day, the stream's real quality, catch-up and reminders. The row's play button still starts it right away.

Fixed: switching tabs no longer stutters, a channel group protected by parental controls is now truly protected, removing a playlist from one device no longer breaks it on the others, and network and display settings now stay specific to each device.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-30

Your subscription and settings now follow your iCloud account: a fresh install finds your playlist without typing anything again.

Watch history, resume positions, followed channels and title corrections finally travel between your devices.

New: send a playlist to a nearby device without typing anything — in Settings, Playlists.
