I watched Doug's intro on the "Sondtest Room" channel on YouTube and quickly decided I MUST have This App!  It seems to be totally fantastic and has such rich possibilities.
But alas ... it does not even load in AUM.

I have lots of Paul's Products and they are great instruments! 

Hopefully this is just a minor bug and he will be able to fix it soon. But until then I would not recommend it.

I can’t seem to get this working any more in Aum I have deleted and reloaded the app and updated the latest crash fix but still it doesn’t work on what was a great effects app once

I don't know if is (daw) GARAGEBAND or if is the PLUGIN FLUX itself but I'm pretty sure it's the PLUGIN ,But the main problem I've experienced is the effects are either very sustained (delayed) or don't respond right away, especially the reverse effect, for example if there's a REVERSE node first then and REPEAT node after (not right after), the REVERSE effect leaves so much (release) that When it's time for the turn Of the "REPEAT" EFFECT the REVERSE gets repeated by the REPEAT EFFECT because there was too much release on the REVERSE EFFECT which cause to be interfered by the REPEAT EFFECT.
Honestly FLUX Would Be Good As EFFECTRIX
If it didn't had this problem, And some other effects like the gate have some issues, idk why people aren't taking about the amount of bug fixes this plugin needs but I do wish The DEVELOPER does fixes them soon considering it hasn't had any updateds in 4 YEARS.

Really struggling to insert patterns in the song section.  When I select the # in the song chain, it usually will not highlight correctly.  This is frustrating as I am trying to workaround by messing with append, delete but can’t get it to fly.  This is in AUM.  

Other than this amazing!

Some nice fx, pretty neat.

Deleting notes does not always work.  I often have to stop host playback, close the plugin and reopen it in order to do so.

The latency seems a bit laggy.

For the price though, not bad.  I use it and Effectrix at the same time.  Simmilar plugins, different approaches and uses.

Updated Review:

March 17th - 4 Pockets got right on the problem and fixed it in record time. Works fine now and is a very interesting plugin for altering an instrument’s sound and behavior.

March 14, 2025 - i just got this after seeing the Sound Test Room video promoting the temporary sale price. This just refuses to work in AUM. Seems to work ok in Cubasis 3. Have never had many problems with 4 plugins before.

Fantastic app but I can’t find where to ask a question. So hopefully I’ll get a response from this review. The preset list in the iPad version is nicely alphabetized but the iPod version is not (and there seems to be no way to re-order the list) so it takes a long time to scroll and find presets. Can’t find your website - going around in circles looking for support. Otherwise I’m having great fun with flux - and it solved something I’ve been looking for awhile now - sequenceable pitch shift. Thank you - gary

Grateful for the attention you’re paying to this app. I know we have effectrix out here but this really can give them a run for their money the way you making these frequent updates and responding to your customers needs / perspectives.

Have the Effectrix was hoping this was a bit better quality. It’s not bad but was hoping it wasnt a cheesy effectrix copy. Hopefully they improve all their apps in sound quality

Updating review to developers quick response and attention I respect the answer and dedication changing it to 5 stars hopefully the quality goes up 
And they continue to get better and better

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I just added 2 new effects and 2 new ones are already in development. As for sound quality I think this is really down to the hosts audio format and not really dictated to by us, however I am always trying to improve the apps after launch and am putting in plenty of times to make this app as good as I can make it.

I downloaded this just a few hours ago and I’ve been noodling and experimenting. I like this app and I’m very pleased with it. When I saw the YouTube demo it looked like something I could use and I’m happy. 🙂
