If any issues ever come up, customer service is almost non-existent. Chat messages go unanswered for days, text support doesn’t reply. Since creating my account six months ago, I have deposited over $1,000 back into my checking account. It almost feels too good to be true! Whenever I have needed to contact customer support, I have been able to reach someone immediately, and they have always been kind and helpful. I hope to continue using Fluz for a long time to come. ### 4/5 — Got some bugs *2025-06-26, version 5.15.0* I’ve been using for a few months and my impression is that the app is struggling to keep up with the complexity of some of the gift card deals they offer. The first example I encountered is that some rewards are not available until until they establish some credit worthiness. So you might be able to buy $20 gift card but not a $200 dollar or buy multiple gift cards until you’ve met some undisclosed criteria for credit worthiness. Second example I was not able to buy a gift card because at checkout it appears, in small text, there is a min threshold (there’s also max thresholds). Third example is where a I can’t redeem a boosted rate unless I pay with flux credit (in my case I had plenty until I withdrew and had I known I would have kept what I needed in the account). In all cases these additional, more complex criteria, are not obvious and sometimes impossible to identify until you have a chat (which admittedly is very responsive). One additional tip I’d offer is that it appears they are working on some of these issues and so updating the app (I thought this happened automatically but I needed to go the App Store to force this) might resolve some high frustrating interactions. Update 6/26/2025 - I got a resolution to my third example. Well a work around. Try moving the money to gift card rather than buying a gift card. There’s still a bug and an issue around transparency (ie should be more obvious that boost is only available when paying with fluz credit) but I appreciate the great chat support. ### 5/5 — Best Cash back app for debit users *2025-06-23, version 5.15.0* If you are a debit card user and fear credit card debt ..use debit to get the same exact rewards + more! Best app experience , simple and easy. I mainly used the app to buy Amazon and CVS gift cards. FLUZ CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND THEY DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS FOR THEIR MISTAKES. I would advise that you are taking a chance with each purchase you make on their app. Example 1 - Purchased a gift card to Bath and Body works but when i showed it in the store they could not validate in store, even the manager tried everything she could. I contacted Fluz for assistance, and they advised it could only be used in the store. NO REFUND EVEN THOUGH THIS CLAUSE WAS NOT STATED when purchasing. Example 2 - Bought an Amazon GC on 12/31. The app gave me a claim code that seems to be missing a few characters. Amazon customer service was not able to verify the gift card without serial number, which Fluz does not provide. Fluz customer service took over a month to create a refund request and now it is end of February (2 months later) AND STILL NO REFUND. I will be deleting the app once i (hopefully) get my refund. ### 1/5 — My2cents *2026-01-21, version 5.27.0* I had purchased a Starbucks gift card, not too long ago and upon purchasing it did not give me the barcode. So I click the gift card list and it shows up there, but not able to click on the gift card that I want and I also saw that none of them open up. C’mon guys, who’s dropping the ball here? 🤦🏼‍♀️ ### 1/5 — missing gift cards *2025-05-21* I’ve spent thousands of dollars through Fluz over the past few years, but the recent experience has been extremely disappointing and unsettling. Many of my previously purchased gift cards, including high-value ones, no longer appear in the app, even though they remain unused. When I reached out to customer support to get help, it took nine days and multiple follow-ups just to get a reply, despite the app claiming response times are just a few minutes. When I finally did get a response, I was given an incomplete list of gift cards, missing at least a $500 Southwest card and others. I was then met with a generic apology and no meaningful effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional to be treated this way, especially when real money is involved and access to your purchases simply vanishes. Fluz needs to do much better in both transparency and customer service. Until then, I would strongly caution others before trusting this app with their money. ### 1/5 — Very slow and buggy *2025-05-11* Update: it’s got even worse over time.. used to be great but now rarely works at all and the deals are pretty poor compared to competitor apps. I went from using daily to using it almost never. Every once in awhile I see a good deal but it just fails to process, doesn’t seem to work with Apple Pay. The app itself has some of the worst interface I’ve used, even on my 15 pro it’s barely usable. Everything has a delay of 10-30sec to respond. As for the gift card offers they used to be quite good but these days they’re all much lower than competition aside from the “parties” which occasionally offer competitive deals. Thank you. It feels good knowing I have this little money saving hack. I love combining with my favorite cash back apps like TopCashBack and RetailMeNot. Example. I used got a Starbucks card for $15. I had a 25% boost and I had $3 sitting there to use toward it from prior savings. So I paid only $9 and it then paid $.50 for future use. Love this. I use is so much. Petco is my favorite. I suppose if I had purchased online through capital one portal or Rakuten etc I could have gotten more money. I’m unable to send invites to friends for some reason it just goes blank loading and when I try to add contacts or finish my profile I can’t I forgot my 4 digit pin.
