I keep on looping through your auth. ### 2/5 — User Friendly *2025-09-15, version 7.0* This App needs serious work done to it to make it more user friendly and simpler to use. I would take a look at Flysafair’s app and learn a few tips. Regards to picking seats, it’s not clear that you have to scroll right to make it to the next flight. Hard to go back and make changes and correct mistakes without starting over. As you proceed through the selection process, it’s not clear that you are choosing based on only one person, even though you have said you are booking for two. That doesn’t come through until you see the final price. Your message about luggage is not clear. Is that about checked baggage or carry-on? And it would be nice if you had a pound conversion for Americans ### 2/5 — Confirmation issues *2025-08-07, version 7.0* I have experienced the app freezing after i have reserved the dates and added card details and nothing happens. It then says that the session needs to be started again and then when i reload my dates, the prices have gone up. Terrible App *2025-05-26, version 7.0* I love Airlink and use them all the time. Their website is great however the app is awful. Among many other things is that doesn’t hold a login session and impossible to switch between paying between air miles & c/cars. Not worth downloading. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-04-27, version 7.0* I had to verify I am human nine time within a few minutes… I gave up when I got bounced back to login to SkyBucks a third time and realised that I would be asked to verify that I am human several times again. If I could give it zero stars I would… but I can’t, so one star it is. ### 1/5 — Shocker!! *2025-04-24, version 7.0* Fortunately this is one of my favorite airlines which makes this so disappointing and frustrating. Arguably one of the worst travel apps in the world. It needs to be completely redesigned and built. Not only that but the pricing and availability algorithms need to be changed reviewed and updated. I ended up paying 9000 return for two hours of domestic flights!! The payment system is dire and doesn’t function as it should dropping the flow and causing you to start ALLOVER AGAIN! And then the price of the ticket goes up!! Please guys sort it out!! Find a new designer and developer! If you are doing this on a phone, you have to scroll up and down to follow the flow. Get rid of the pictures and tidy up the screens maybe? I struggled with the payment too, as I saved the details from my previous booking, but was not able to find where to retrieve it. ### 1/5 — App is not user friendly - logs out! *2025-01-22, version 6.0* Hi team Airlink! This is not a normal review but should be considered as constructive feedback. If you open the app and log in, the My Trips and Check-In pages are not effectively set up. Each time you close the app and reopen it, you have to log in again. If you add a flight as one of your trips, it opens as an In App browser, once you go back it disappears and does not get added to the My Trips page. Please sort it out!!! This app is supposed to act as a on demand access to your itinerary and flight info. Please!! ### 1/5 — App is satisfactory *2025-01-08, version 6.0* This app is inconsistent and the flow can end up costing you more when booking flights. At any point while booking, hit the back arrow and watch the app crash. Put more effort in making this app flexible and learn from other airline app’s like Emirates and Qatar. ### 1/5 — So annoying *2025-01-04, version 6.0* I have contacted Airlink on numerous occasions regarding the glitch on the app on my phone. The email response clear,all cookies and caches on your phone. After taking my phone into the Istore, I found out that action is not possible. So great tech advice. I still to this day, 5 months later still cannot use the app on my phone and no one at Airlink that can assist. ### 1/5 — Great airline with the worst app *2025-01-01, version 6.0* Airlink definitely offers the best flying experience in South Africa, but this app is terrible. It hangs indefinitely on a “join Skybucks” screen even though one is logged in as a Skybucks member. It also “loses” flights that have been loaded, and then have to be reloaded time and time again. It freezes up a staggering 99% of the time… whether you’re searching for flights, checking in, or just trying to view your itinerary. Desperately needs a full update to fix these constant crashes and lag spikes. For context, South African Airways (SAA) has a nearly identical app design, and theirs runs flawlessly without a single hitch. It’s baffling how FlyAirlink can’t match that basic reliability. Overall, this app is a frustrating time waster that makes travel planning feel like a chore. 1/5 stars… stick to the website if you can. ### 1/5 — App was working great before, but is useless now. *2025-07-18, version 7.0* Before I was able to add my trips in advance and seamlessly do my online check-ins with automatic allocation of my skybucks. Ok, the fact that it wouldn’t remember my Skybucks membership number was annoying, but not too serious. Now however, because I book through a corporate travel agency, I am blocked from even adding my trip to the app which means that the app practically lost all its use and value for me. They just as well discontinue it as far as I am concerned. ### 1/5 — Skybucks *2025-06-23, version 7.0* The app is easy enough to use, but it never saves personal details which is a pain to have to re-enter if one is a frequent flier, the skybucks reward system is unstable I have done way more flights than what have been logged and I’m unable to claim these, so as much as I rate the airlink flying service I don’t rate the airlink back end service. ### 1/5 — FROZEN *2025-06-12, version 7.0* Could the developers please check why it is almost impossible to log into the app. It is frozen every time I try to open the app. Besides that, the app is good and I’ll increase my rating as soon as that issue has been fixed. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2025-06-09, version 7.0* This is perhaps the worse travel app. A traveler wants to be able to travel with confidence that they can connect with the airline. The check in portion is slow and rejects you. The Add a trip part doesn’t recognize your last name. It’s terrible. I been in Zambia on vacation trying to check in for a flight to the USA for hours and this app is useless. I found useless coming and now even returning it is useless. My recommendation: don’t use the app, fly another airline.
