Fly Guide is a great little app for fly fisherman and fly tiers alike. It includes pictures and descriptions of a wide variety of dry flies, nymphs/emergers, and streamers. It also includes information on when and how to use each fly, the materials needed to tie it, and a link to a quality video for tying it successfully. This update adds 9 new flies, so have fun tying the new ones since a couple of them are a bit more challenging!

The audio does not work and the app has not been updated in five years. There is great potential to link a data base of materials to flies so that a user could search flies based on the materials that they have on-hand.

I'd give it zero stars if that would register .. This app is a complete waste of money.  Shows maybe two dozen well known patterns (nothing unusual), no search features, and is really just a very simplistic set of pictures.  A waste
