## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-08

Fly To Fun 1.6.0 is our biggest update yet.

FLY NOW PLANS THE WHOLE TRIP
Tap Fly and your route starts at the airport you're at. Use Find to set a distance, runway length and surface, then hit Pick For Me. It measures from your last stop, so you can build a multi-stop day one leg at a time. Or tap airports, scenic spots and events right on the map. You'll see numbered stops and the distance of every leg. Reorder stops, add a leg back home, and send it to ForeFlight or share it as a GPX. Your routes are saved in My Lists.

FOLLOW MY FLIGHT
Send family a link and they can watch you fly on a live map, in any web browser or right in Fly To Fun. Add your people once and turn on auto-share: every takeoff emails them the link. It shows when you've landed, then ends on its own.

A NEW EVENTS TAB
Events near you come first. Search by event, airport, city or state, filter by distance and date, see Top Events and where your friends are going, and tap I'm Going right from the list.

A REAL PILOT LOGBOOK
Every flight now gets a logbook entry: what it was for, remarks, aircraft, who you flew with, plus PIC, night, cross-country, instrument and landings. Times and night are filled in for you.
• Currency: see your 90-day passenger and night currency, and get a heads-up before your medical expires.
• Log it from the notification: after you land, tap the notification to set the flight's purpose without opening the app.
• Export: CSV, ForeFlight-ready logbook export, a printable PDF, and 8710 totals for your next checkride.
• Your Year in Flight: a shareable recap of your flying.

HOURS & MAINTENANCE
Track Hobbs and tach for your aircraft, and get reminded before an oil change, annual or other maintenance comes due.

FIXES
• Recorded flights no longer cut out on final or during touch-and-goes. Your track now runs all the way through the landing and the taxi in.
• The flight screen is redesigned, and the map fits your whole track.
• Opening the app with no signal no longer asks you to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy again.
• You can remove places from a saved list right from the list.
• Conversations now show the other pilot's profile photo.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-10-02

Pick a Distance Range
The Fly distance slider now has two knobs. Set a minimum as well as a maximum, say 75 to 150 NM, and the list, the map and Pick For Me only suggest fields in that range. The airport down the road no longer crowds out the trip you actually want.

Full-Screen Airports
Tap the new expand button on any airport to open it full screen. Tap it again, or swipe down, to shrink it back to the card.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-10-01

Airport Diagrams
Open the official FAA airport diagram right from the airport page. Diagrams update automatically every chart cycle and stay saved for when you have no signal. When you're at the field, a blue dot shows where you are on the diagram. Airports without an FAA diagram get a runway sketch instead.

Get a Ride
Just landed? Tap Uber or Lyft on the airport page, or next to a nearby restaurant or activity in Plan Around. Your pickup and drop-off are already filled in.

On the Field
See the FBOs, maintenance shops, restaurants, flight schools and more at each airport, grouped by type, with buttons to call, visit the website or get directions.

Edit Your Aircraft
Tap any plane in My Hangar to edit it. Set your active aircraft from Settings or right from the edit screen, and your profile updates to match.

Fixes
• Friends no longer get "took off" or "landed" alerts when you drive to the airport.
• Sharing, liking and commenting no longer fail when your sign-in needs refreshing.
• Your profile always shows your active aircraft.
• In Plan Around, the Map button now makes the map fill the screen.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-30

FAA Sectional Charts
Pick Sectional as your map style in Settings → Map and fly with the FAA's VFR charts right on the map. They stay sharp as you zoom, don't blink out while you pan, and a slider lets you fade the map in underneath. Not for navigation.

Edit Your Aircraft
Fix a tail number or change the make and model without deleting the aircraft: just tap it in My Hangar. Set your active aircraft from the aircraft itself or in Settings → Aircraft, and your profile updates right away.

Fixes
• "Wheels up" no longer fires while you're driving on the highway.
• Friends no longer get "took off" or "landed" alerts when you drive to the airport. Those now wait until you're really flying.
• Your profile now always shows the aircraft you've set as active.
• Sharing a post, liking and commenting no longer fail with a confusing error when your sign-in needs refreshing.
• The map feels steadier. It no longer redraws itself every time you stop panning.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-09-28

A quick fix: event cards with a photo now show their full title and location again, on iPhone and iPad.
