### 1.6 — 2026-08-25

- Changing a flight's cruise altitude no longer leaves the briefing quietly describing the old one. The Advisory and Discussion tabs now tell you when the weather discussion was written for a different altitude.
- The post-flight debrief now asks about approach conditions on a freshly installed app, rather than only after its first sync.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-14

- Move or duplicate a flight when the route or date changes — the flight's state and briefing history come with it
- Select several flights at once and delete them in one go
- A new What's New screen in the More menu, so each release explains itself
- The add and edit flight form now covers everything the web version does
- Help and feedback moved into the main menu, and Settings links straight through to your web preferences
- Optionally order upcoming flights soonest-first — Siri reads them back in the same order
- Better-calibrated turbulence advisories: clear-air turbulence now scales with altitude and stops at the top of the mixed layer, so low-level thermal bumps no longer read as CAT
- Sharper icing calls from the model's rain and snow content, and briefings re-run automatically when you change a flight's parameters

- Route SIGMETs — area hazards along your route now show in the briefing, with tappable detail
- Current Observations — a table of METARs from the nearest airports, capped to the 10 closest on iPhone
- New approach-feasibility advisory — flags when the published approach isn't aligned with the runway the wind favours, and you can now declare your own unpublished cloud-break procedures
- Sharper thunderstorm detection in Europe (ICON-D2 explicit convection) and high-resolution HRRR forecasts on US routes
- Flight list — swipe to delete, a red dot marks briefings you haven't opened, plus sharing polish
- iPad — the forecast map now has a sidebar toggle so it can't strand you
- Cross-section legend redesigned for colour-blind readability; cleaner icing advisories and airport card layout

- Share a flight: send any flight to another pilot with a link. They can subscribe and follow your briefing read-only.
  - European forecast map: a new pan-European overview map with tap-to-open airport cards, plus an airport forecast overlay right on the briefing route map.
  - Rate your briefings: thumbs up / thumbs down feedback on the weather digest, and a new post-flight debrief to tell us how the forecast held up.
  - Smarter timing: flights now show how much timing flexibility the latest forecast data gives you, and the flight list refreshes automatically when you return to it.
  - Clearer advisories: advisories now explain why a region fired, not just how severe it is. Convective grading is sharper, and missing data is flagged distinctly instead of appearing
  green.
  - iPad polish: native tab bar and smoother scrolling on iPad.

- Briefing update notifications — Opt in to be notified when a flight's briefing changes, with per-flight control (Default / Always / Mute) and an account setting for how often.
- Siri, Shortcuts & Spotlight — Open a flight's briefing by voice or from search.
- Seamless forecast updates — The flight list and any open briefing quietly sync to the latest forecast on open, on pull-to-refresh, and when you return to the app — with a live "Updating…" indicator.
- Smoother flight creation — Routes typed with airway/SID/Field-15 syntax are interpreted before saving, future flights beyond the forecast horizon open cleanly, and accidental double-submits are prevented.
- Clearer weather display — Wind directions and headings are zero-padded to three digits, plus cloud-layer fixes for more accurate cross-sections.
