For one week I only had the living room as my zone. The next week I had the kitchen, master bath, and all four kids rooms. Sadly, either there’s something wrong with the upgrade or it’s a rip off because there’s not hardly any change from the free version and in some ways is even less user-friendly. ### 1/5 — App Stuck on July 31 *2026-08-08, version 4.0.1* The app has been stuck on July 31. Where is the app manager to address this issue? Not worth downloading if it is not working. ### 1/5 — Doesn't Work *2026-08-03, version 4.0.1* Nothing functions in the app unless you sign up for a subscription. It also requires you to have a login, but every time I tried to create an account, the app displayed an error. ### 1/5 — Not Free…requires account login *2026-06-19, version 4.0.1* The description specifically states at the bottom “no login required”. This is a lie. Nowhere in the description does it say you have to pay $1.99 a week or $37 a year to use this app. Absolutely nothing in this app is free, and nowhere does it state anything about payments payments or in app purchases ### 1/5 — Used to be great *2026-03-30, version 4.0.0* Used to be super awesome and helpful, used this app for years when it was free and now the whole thing just seems like a soulless cash grab. Used to be able to tailor the whole app to your house for FREE now you have to pay to do just about anything. Also why can’t we access zones were not currently in anymore?? I move a lot and I can’t even adjust my zones to match where I’m at anymore. Thinking of deleting soon if I can’t figure something out. Still can’t access the premium interface and the developer is no where to be found! ### 1/5 — UPDATE - Courses don’t load *2026-02-19, version 3.9.5* The courses were supposed to be INCLUDED in my premium subscription and now that I waited to see if bugs were fixed - they now want $100 to access what was said to be included when I purchased the premium subscription! WTH??? I even emailed app support and heard nothing back. This is scandalous. If you want to charge more for your videos that’s one thing - but what happened here is actually illegal and if it’s not amended I will report to the BBB. I was excited to see I could access courses through the app and pick up where I’d left off waaayyy back in 2006. Unfortunately the app developer has not got back to my support question on why the courses don’t load with the Plus plan. Next stop: I will be seeking a refund. Wish the book was in publication because I wanted to buy that first. Otherwise I haven’t found clear direction on methods again and I know they are fabulous. Very sad about being unable to deepen my knowledge. It always helped me get back on track. I have been feeling over cluttered and tried the website and this app. It’s not for me. Wish we could still use the old website. It wasn’t flashy but it was from the heart. I think I may still have an old control journal somewhere I will turn to that instead. The old website had everything right there. The new website doesn’t have much and the app just didn’t seem useful to me. Would love to go back to old way. I especially love the routines, reminders, and the encouragement to just keep moving forward—even when you don’t get everything done. It takes away the guilt and makes cleaning feel much more achievable. I have also recommended it to new moms who really do *not* have time to read a book at this point. The app makes it so they can jump right in with a routine already laid out for them. This is a huge blessing at certain phases of our lives. I mostly kept my routines through my children growing up and it really helped my children learn to keep their spaces clean as well. I did not have those awful teenage messy rooms. But now that I am in menopause, and my mother has passed away, and my life is very different. I found I needed motivation again. My friend said hey FlyLady has an app. So I have come back to FlyLady. The app makes it easy to just open up and see what I can work on today.
