## What is Flynt Connect?

Find people who move your career forward.

Flynt is an AI-powered professional networking product. Every month we introduce you to one person worth connecting with, someone our matching genuinely thinks can help with where you're headed. Then we handle the rest.

HOW IT WORKS
 1. Tell us about you — your background, your goals, what you're figuring out next.
 2. Get matched — once a month we introduce you to one relevant person, with a clear reason you've been paired and how strong the match is.
 3. Talk — suggested talking points give you a head start, so you never face a blank screen.
 4. We handle the logistics — scheduling, calendar invites and rescheduling are all one tap away.

MORE THAN A MATCH
 • Message your connections directly and keep the momentum going.
 • Join Flynt meetups — optional, curated events to meet great people in person, not just on a screen.
 • Get to know yourself with quick challenges about how you work best.
 • Share your story and what it's taught you — a profile about your journey, not just a job title.
 • Earn badges as you reach meaningful milestones.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.14 — 2026-08-20

What's new

The events you've booked now sit alongside your chats in the Calendar and on your home screen, so everything you've said yes to lives in one place. Organisers can ask a question or two when you register, you can see who else nearly made it, and comments now show who's organising and who's from the Flynt team. If a calendar invite goes astray, you can send it to yourself again.

Fixes

Expert members are no longer offered a bill they don't owe. Late bookers see an honest picture of their matches rather than a clock that has already run out, and reveal cards have stopped repeating themselves. There's a tidy-up of the event cards too, so they sit properly next to everything else.

### 1.0.13 — 2026-08-18

Your in-person meet-up reveal just got the moment it deserved. There's a proper countdown, a little confetti, and the card flips to show who you'll be meeting. Fancy watching it again? Now you can.

We've also given the event page a tidy-up, brightened things in light mode, and stopped a few notifications from giving the surprise away early.

### 1.0.12 — 2026-08-17

What's new
Pick your availability for every Friday of the month in one go, and if a monthly match falls through we'll try to find you a new one. You can now edit your own messages, see the date as you scroll a long chat, and the app follows your phone's light or dark setting with a much tidier dark mode all round.

Fixes
Replies keep their quote, reactions no longer celebrate twice, and stuck messages send properly. Updating your times no longer cancels a reschedule you've asked for, recurring catch-ups stay on the weekday you chose, and event match suggestions no longer show the same person twice. Plus plenty of small polish behind the scenes.

### 1.0.11 — 2026-08-14

What's new

Dark mode is here. Flynt now follows your phone, so it goes dark when your phone does. You can still choose Light or Dark yourself under Appearance in your account settings.

Your match card now does something useful when a meeting has to move. If you asked to reschedule you can update your availability while you wait to hear back. If someone asked you, you can see the times they have offered before you open the picker, and you can tell us if none of them work.

You can edit a message you have already sent. Scrolling back through a conversation now shows you which day you are reading.

What's fixed

"Contact support" now opens the support form, so your message reaches the team and starts a conversation you can reply to.

We save the availability you actually picked.

An old reschedule request no longer hides a new match.

Calendar notifications take you to the right place.

The keyboard now drops out of the way when you send a message. Empty avatars are gone.

Photos load faster and more reliably.

The app recovers on its own when something goes wrong instead of getting stuck.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-08-10

What's new

Reactions have been reworked. Pick Celebrate, Love or On fire, each with its own animation when it lands in the chat.

Your profile now matches what you see on the web. You can edit your role. Longer About sections sit behind a Read more button instead of filling the page.

The meetings you already have are listed in one place so you can manage them from there.

Circles now appear in Messages. After a catch-up we will ask how it went.

The "+" menu in a chat is tidier, with sending an attachment as the first option.

What's fixed

We fixed a bug where tapping a notification took you to the home screen instead of the thing it was about. A notification about your availability now opens the availability picker. One about a new message opens that conversation. Links shared from emails behave the same way, even if you need to sign in first.

We fixed a crash that could take the app down at login for members with an unusual availability slot saved.

We fixed a bug where photos you sent did not show up for anyone reading the conversation on the web.

We fixed a bug where the "Stay in the loop" screen kept appearing after you had already turned notifications on.

We fixed a bug where some job titles were showing up as "Other", both on profiles and when asking someone to meet.

We fixed a bug that stopped members who joined after a cycle had started from submitting their availability.

We fixed a bug where the "+" menu in a chat opened behind the keyboard.

We fixed a bug where rescheduling did not always handle timezones properly.

Plus plenty of smaller fixes across booking, calendar and profile.
