## What is FlyReady?

Check drone flight weather with a 0–100 suitability score.
Compare hourly wind and a 7-day forecast to plan your flight.
Days 4–7 are marked for reference when data is incomplete.

Check drone weather at your location or a place you select. Review wind speed, temperature, precipitation and visibility, then switch days and hours to compare conditions. Check the geomagnetic Kp index alongside the weather.

Optional tools estimate flight time, mission feasibility and aerial mapping plans.

Free to use with ads. An in-app purchase removes ads. Weather scores and calculations are estimates, not flight authorization. Check conditions on site and official airspace restrictions before flying.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.4 — 2026-10-22

Mission planning fixed.
• Picking a model now fills in its cruise speed from the maker's published specs (or an estimate from its top speed). Every model used to be calculated at a default 8 m/s, which could show 'Infeasible' even in light wind
• Change cruise speed right on the Mission check screen
• When the weather is 'Danger' or wind/gusts exceed the aircraft limit, the app explains why instead of calculating
• More accurate widget and saved-place ratings, plus stability improvements

### 1.5.3 — 2026-10-19

More reliable weather loading.
• Forecasts now arrive through two relay servers, fixing failures on some networks
• A weather request shows a result or an error within 20 seconds
• The error screen adds 'Find my location' and 'Pick a place'
• Stability improvements

### 1.5.2 — 2026-10-17

More accurate flight verdicts and alerts.
• Days 4–7 are marked 'for reference' when forecast data is incomplete
• Times that have already passed are no longer recommended
• Fixed duplicate or wrong-place 'better weather' alerts
• The widget shows when the weather was fetched
• Stability improvements

### 1.5.1 — 2026-10-16

• New design: flying weather in one word, automatic day/night theme
• Forecasts shown in the local time of the place you pick
• GPS satellite count and estimated wind by altitude
• 23 aircraft presets and unit choice (m/s, mph, °C, °F)
• Ukrainian added; one-time purchase to remove ads

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-03

Safer verdicts: if weather can't be loaded you see an error card instead of a guessed verdict. Strong wind, low visibility or extreme temperature alone now forces Caution/Danger. 4–7 day forecast now uses real MET Norway data. Extra-payload flight time uses the physics model. Without location permission your IP-based area is used. Fixes for snow icons, non-Latin profile names and localization.
