Garbage, this app does not support anything. Send you to their website to buy a drone when I paid for this app to control my drone, just robbed me for 8.00 dollars. IT’ CLEARLY A SCAM!

**Developer response:** Hi, I'm sorry the app didn't work for you, but "scam" is not accurate, and I owe both you and other buyers a clear picture.

FlyToDiscover has been on the App Store for years and is used every day to control Parrot Bebop drones from an iPhone or iPad, either via the drone's own Wi-Fi or through a SkyController 2 connected by USB. That is what the app does, and what your $7.99 pays for.

The website link you saw is in the About section. It points to FTD company. If you already own a Bebop, this app is your controller for it.

If your Bebop 1 or Bebop 2 doesn't show up in the app, that is almost always a Wi-Fi or permission setup issue, and often a simple fix. Email us with:
• your drone model (Bebop 1 or Bebop 2)
• your iPhone/iPad model and iOS version
• what happens when you power the drone on and open the app

I answer personally, usually same-day.

Don’t waste your money on this app it doesn’t connect to drone you have to be connected to your home Wi-Fi to fly your drone how does that work if I’m 10 miles away could you explain me that Mr. genius

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry for the confusion — the Bebop creates its own Wi-Fi network, you connect your phone to "Bebop2-XXXX" (not home Wi-Fi) and fly within the drone's own range. Version 1.8.2 (just released) rewrites the Wi-Fi detection so the app reliably sees the Bebop once you're joined to that network. Please update and give it another try.

My sky controller 2 connects but I turn the drone on and I get nothing from the app.  Controller disconnects when drone is turned on.  Why?

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry for the trouble. The SC2-connects-but-app-sees-nothing pattern was the Wi-Fi detection bug between the SkyController and the Bebop. Version 1.8.2 (just released) rewrites that detection and the controller-disconnect-on-drone-power path is also hardened. Please update FlyToDiscover and try again: SC2 first, then power the Bebop.

App non funzionante su skycontroller 2, 9€ buttate. Peccato che Applestore faccia vendere queste App senza avere certezze di funzionamento. Per me, meriterebbe zero stelle. Ora aprirò contestazione per rimborso.

Appena ho comprato l’app l’ho provata con il mio bebop2 power e skycontroller 2. Ho provato a fare un panorama 360 gradi, il drone ha eseguito tutto il ciclo di scatti, purtroppo però quando ho provato a scaricare tramite Wi-Fi il risultato dell’acquisizione immagini il programma installato su iPhone 6s ha crashato! Non c’è modo di scaricare nulla, nemmeno una semplice immagine, ogni volta che si cerca di scaricare le immagini il programma si chiude inspiegabilmente.

**Developer response:** Bonjour, désolé pour le plantage en vol. La 1.8.2 (à peine publiée) ajoute des timeouts et des defensive guards autour des flux qui faisaient crasher l'app, y compris la connexion Bebop pendant le pilotage. Le RTH dépend du firmware Bebop : vérifie l'altitude RTH dans les paramètres. Mets à jour FlyToDiscover sur l'App Store et réessaye en zone dégagée.

Hola, en el iPad no funciona el control por voz, al activarlo se cierra la aplicación. Agradecería la solución. Tampoco funciona la aplicación con el iPhone, se cierra antes de comenzar el vuelo. Ruego una solución. Gracias.

Die App Ist soweit gut und hat Potenzial, leider fehlen ihr aber grundlegende Funktionen. Viele nutzen keinem SkyController sondern MFI Bluetooth Gamepads. 

Größter Minuspunkt ist aber Harald.
Diesem Mitarbeiter fehlt jegliche Sozialkompetenz. Er beleidigt jeden auf das übelste der auch nur ein wenig Kritik äußert. Am schlimmsten ist aber dass er dazu auch noch Rassistische Witze und Beleidigungen äußert. Wie kann man nur so jemanden auf Bezahlende Kunden loslassen. Finger weg von dieser App wenn ihr Support wollt - ihr werdet beleidigt und mit rassistischen Sprüchen  bombardiert. Schade hätte Potenzial ist aber so sein Geld nicht wert .. ich bleibe bei Bebop Pro.

In 1.8.2 (gerade veröffentlicht) wurde die MFi-Bluetooth-Gamepad-Unterstützung auf GCExtendedGamepad modernisiert, neben SkyController 1/2/3 — auch der Nimbus und andere MFi-Controller werden jetzt erkannt. Bitte aktualisiere FlyToDiscover im App Store und gib der App noch eine Chance.

Im großen und ganzen hat die App Potenzial , leider verspricht der deutsche Mitarbeiter Harald zu viel in sozialen Netzwerken. 
Positiv ist die Follow me Funktion , da sie kostenlos dabei ist, leider funktioniert sie nicht richtig.
Der Waypoint Modus existiert nicht. Die Panorama Funktion soll Ende des Monats kommen, ich bin mal gespannt . 
Mein Tipp:
Harald etwas bremsen!
Die "beste App" für die Bebop 2 ist es definitiv (noch) nicht

Mit 1.8.2 (gerade veröffentlicht) sind Follow Me und Orbit komplett überarbeitet — funktionieren jetzt zuverlässig, auch mit SkyController 1/2/3 — und die 360°-Panorama-Aufnahme ist stabilisiert. Waypoints sind noch nicht im Funktionsumfang. Bitte aktualisiere FlyToDiscover im App Store und probier es neu.

Je mets 5 étoiles car c’est la seule application permettant de piloter mon be-bop 2 depuis mon iPhone 16 pro max avec iOS 27. Cependant j’ai quelques problèmes majeurs : 
- quand je l’ai fait décoller, le bouton décoller ne s’est pas transformé en bouton « atterrir » et du coup j’ai du attrapé le drone à la main pour l’éteindre et les pales m’ont coupé 
- quand je lance l’application, il me dit que je dois faire un calibrage, quand je vais dans la roue crantée puis calibrage, l’application se coupe instantanément 
- quand je connecte la skycontroller 2 en usb C sur mon iPhone, dès que je clique sur le drone dans le menu principal, l’application se coupe instantanément 
Dès lors que ces bugs seront corrigés l’application sera parfaite ! 
PS : je n’ai pas trouvé d’adresse e-mail ou de forum permettant de remonter des bugs pour qu’ils soient pris en compte dans une prochaine version

It’s not letting me use it with my sc 2p

The SC2P (SkyController 2 Power) detection was the same code path as the SC2 — version 1.8.2 (just released) rewrites SkyController USB detection for all variants, including 2P. Plug the iPhone into the SC2P via USB, update FlyToDiscover from the App Store and the controller should be picked up.

Salve a tutti, ho scaricato questa applicazione tramite il mio ipad2 per poter pilotare il be-bop drone 1....funziona tutto...solo che quando faccio i video non mi fa vedere la diretta sullo schermo del iPad ....qualcuno di voi mi potrebbe aiutare per risolvere il problema? Grazie anticipatamente

Can't seem to get it to connect to my sky controller 2 at the moment not seen any updates apart from that im just using it to do 360 photos which it does a good job of but bought it to connect with the sky controller 2 but not connecting so a lot of money for something that doesn't work fix this and it will be a good alternative

**Developer response:** Hi Alan, the wait paid off — version 1.8.2 (just released) rewrites the SkyController USB detection so the SC2 + Bebop 2 chain pairs correctly. Plug the iPhone into the SC2 via USB (not Wi-Fi), power on the Bebop and update FlyToDiscover from the App Store: you should be able to fly without sticking to 360 photos only.

Très bonne application il manque une explication ou un tutoriel, la manette mad catz ctrli fonctionne à merveille mais dommage qu'il n'est pas possible de configurer les boutons comme sur l'application de parrot FreeFlight pro

**Developer response:** Bonjour Aboussalman, merci ! La configuration des boutons de la manette n'est pas encore disponible — on garde la demande sur la roadmap. La 1.8.2 (à peine publiée) modernise quand même le support MFi (GCExtendedGamepad) donc la Mad Catz reste reconnue. Pour le tutoriel, le dialogue de commandes vocales et l'onboarding Wi-Fi guident désormais l'utilisateur.

### 3/5 — Die Funktionen nur im direkten Steuermodus

Die App funktioniert im ganzen sehr gut, auf dem iPhone läuft sie reibungslos und auch die Zusatzfunktionen wie "follow me" und "orbit me". Die Spracherkennung arbeitet reibungslos, ist jedoch eher eine Spielerei, da eine präzisere Steuerung doch mit der Hand möglich ist.
Die Minuspunkte sind ganz klar, dass keine der ZusatzFunktionen mit dem Skycontroler 2 funktionieren. Da beschränkt sich die Bedienoberfläche auf die Basics und dient als Monitor.

Mit 1.8.2 (gerade veröffentlicht) wurde die USB-Erkennung des SkyControllers neu geschrieben — auch der SC2 wird jetzt von Follow Me, Orbit, Watch Me und der Sprachsteuerung unterstützt, nicht mehr nur im direkten Modus. Bitte aktualisiere FlyToDiscover im App Store und probier es erneut.
