## What is Flyx Map?

Flyx Map is the workshop and flight-map app for FPV and drone pilots. Everything for your quads in one place – no account, no third-party ads.

GARAGE
• Add quads with every installed part – from a template, barcode or photo
• Recognize products: type a name, scan a barcode or photograph the box – manufacturer and specs are filled in
• Part broken? See instantly what was installed and whether a spare is in stock
• Missing parts go straight onto your shopping list

BATTERIES
• Count charge cycles and keep an eye on battery health
• Reminder when a full LiPo has been sitting too long

FLIGHT MAP & GEO ZONES
• Official geo zones for Germany, Switzerland, France and the USA
• Tap a spot to see in plain words what applies there
• Flight weather with the best time to fly, save your own spots

SESSION
• Timer with voice announcements – goggles on, phone in your pocket
• Flights are logged automatically with battery and duration

CREW
• Join friends with a code: who's flying today, share builds and spots
• Delete posts, report content and block users

Plus: maintenance, flight log, licence and document wallet, statistics, Siri shortcuts, widget, backup to your iCloud Drive, camera-drone mode.

Important: the flight map and geo zones are information aids, not an official clearance. Always check the official sources before flying.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.2 — 2026-10-25

Kleine Verbesserungen.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-10-20

On devices set to a language the app doesn't support (e.g. Arabic), Flyx Map now appears in English instead of German.

### 1.4 — 2026-10-19

• Geozones load faster and stay available offline (with data date)
• Control zones explained in plain language
• Wind limits per quad in the garage
• Share a session as an image (no coordinates)
• Search now accepts coordinates with a comma
• Many fixes for zone colors, night weather and links

### 1.3 — 2026-10-18

• The best flight window now respects sunrise and sunset – only daylight times are suggested.
• License scan: clear message when the camera is unavailable or the scan fails. “Scan” and “From Photos” now respond separately.
• The assistant correctly lists all countries with flight-zone data: Germany, Switzerland/Liechtenstein, France/Monaco and the USA.
• Your data is stored more securely and save errors are shown.
• Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-12

More reliable flight weather: if Apple Weather is unavailable, data from Deutscher Wetterdienst is used instead. Checks, map and garage are noticeably faster and smoother. You can now replay the intro under More.
