I check the weather at ilmanteenlaitos  website every day, it's always correct and precise. From now on with this app it's even easier to do. Great job

Always used FMI's website rather than the iOS weather app (aka Yahoo) for accurate weather reports in Finland. Now it's a one-click away app with a simple and clear interface. Love it, thanks FMI!

App doesn’t work anymore. Constantly displays an ‘error loading’ message. Refreshing and re-downloading doesn’t help.

**Developer response:** Some of last year's versions had data loading issues, but they were fixed in later versions.

You have destroyed a very functional, clear and visually accessible interface that had been working great for a decade. Just to make it look more like mainstream weather apps? Size and contrast of text for essential information is terrible. Please bring back the classic design!

Works in mobile, but new UI is horrible in small screen. You don't see much information like used to. Not recommend any longer.

Hi!
And again, how to add current location? Nothing in resent and nothing in favorites. It's no my location information in search menu, but auto detection is working fine.
Shame on designers!

This was an OK app 5 years ago, but pretty weak by today's standards.  Unfortunately it's been updated maybe once during that time, and that was just to remove a feature!  It shows you the temperature and that's about it. No maps, no radar, no graphs, and on top of all that, no iPad support.  If you're in Finland, do yourself a favor and get the yr.no app instead, made by Norway's weather service.  That's a real weather app.

Best designed weather app true to finnish traditions. But please can you add fareignheit? It's just a simple function.

I love this app. It's clearly displays a lot of information in a clean and attractive manner. I want to use it as my go to app.

If you can add Fahrenheit that would make it even more amazing. I know that only the US and Belize use the Fahrenheit scale, and honestly I am really trying to develop an intuitive feel of the centigrade scale, but I'm just not there yet. Please consider it.

Auf diese App bin ich durch Zufall in einem Forum gestoßen. Sie ist nicht nur kostenlos, sondern verwendet das ziemlich gute Harmonie-Modell des finnischen Wetterdienstes. Mit einer Auflösung von ca. 2.5 km und einer stündlichen Aktualisierung bis etwa zur Höhe Hamburgs erste Wahl für Norddeutschland. Meine ersten Erfahrungen jedenfalls sind sehr positiv, da die Vorhersagen recht genau sind. Bei mir besser als DMI oder Yr. Dazu gibt es weltweite Vorhersagen nach dem deutschen ICON13-Modell, leider nur zweimal täglich aktualisiert. Aber selbst auf Zypern gab es so genauere Vorhersagen als von den meisten anderen Diensten. Tolle Leistung, danke an die Entwickler und an das FMI!
PS: Eine kleine Hürde gibt es: Man muss sich durch die finnisch-sprachigen Einstellungen hangeln, um auf Englisch umzustellen.

I spent great holidays in Finland and could plan my outdoors activities with this app. No ads and fluid, very useful radar. 
Météo-France should try to make an app as good as this one 😜
