I’ve tried rescanning three times with the same result. Now I have to take the check into a branch. I don’t have the time for this. Have to log in through actually website. This is now two days of not working. Tried to uninstall and re install app and that didn’t fix it. I’m fed up. ### 1/5 — Got so frustrated with the app I’m choosing not to open an account *2026-07-25, version 5.31.270* Between re-requesting data, deciding arbitrarily on a minute by minute basis on wether or not I’m allowed to apply, adding on additional accounts randomly with no way to undo, confusing directions (it once told me to click out once I had tried to wire money from another bank and return to the app. I followed these directions but the only option to “click out” cancelled the whole application with no warning). Overall the experience was so fustrating and had taken over an hour so I will not bother even opening the account ### 1/5 — Bad user experience *2026-07-19, version 5.30.248* App signed me out, told me I couldn’t use Face ID to sign in even with the correct password because it thinks I didn’t have security questions set up, which I do. Gave me a 1-800 number to call even though I just wanted to check my balance. It should not be this difficult. I constantly get login error messages. It makes me want to refi my mortgage even at a higher rate to avoid the horrible tech experiences at FNB. ### 1/5 — This app has become progressively worse *2026-07-09, version 5.30.248* I choose FNB for their online banking and tech options. Unfortunately, they’ve become progressively worse over time. The app is always experiencing issues. The saved password is giving error messages at times, when other times it works. It will give connectivity error messages whenever there isn’t any (using both WiFi and data). Facial recognition hardly ever works anymore, and requires you to constantly set it up again. This is such a shame, because the app worked great for years. Why? Because it’s 2026. But no, I needed to establish a whole new checking account with them, just so that I can establish a transfer from my personal bank in order to pay a bill. I will never recommend this bank to anybody ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-06-12, version 5.30.248* Everything about this bank and app are painful. The app doesn’t use facial recognition on my iPhone and since it constantly logs me out, I have to rely on a password generator. Cool, but my saved password doesn’t work. OK, I change my password and I still can’t log in. The bank is no better. I visited a location to update my address after a move. They tell me they can’t do it; I have to go to the branch where I opened my account some 15 years earlier. As if that isn’t annoying enough, that branch closed, so now what? I’ve had some problems occasionally with mismatched addresses when buying stuff online with this card because of this policy.
