First National Bank is located in Ames, Iowa and has offices throughout central Iowa. ### 1/5 — Mobile App Issues *2020-05-04* I have completed the new login process with the website got my new temp password and changed it to my new one and the mobile app says invalid credentials but the desktop site works fine. **Developer response:** Thanks for the input, and I'm sorry for the issues. Since "First National Bank" is a very common bank name, it may be that you have downloaded our app, but we may not be your bank. Thank you! ### 1/5 — Issue with take photo of the back of the check *2018-08-09* Issue with take photo of the back of the check. ### 2/5 — Mobile check deposit is a pain *2026-05-12* It has become increasingly more difficult to get checks deposited through the app. I had two in the last two weeks that got put in for review and denied without notice. I was lucky enough to realize they didn’t go through but that is such a pain. ### 2/5 — Mobile deposit *2018-11-29* The app is alright. Navy Feds is far better but this works just fine. I have issues with the camera when making mobile deposits. The from image is always the easiest to capture but I find myself having to take the photo of the back of the check over and over again. I always have all of the signature and mobile deposit shown on the lines provided on the camera as well as all the legal jargon at the bottom. The most frustrating part is when it asks me to clear the image it send me back and makes me select “capture back of check” image instead of simply clearing the images and keeping the camera open. All in all it’s ok I guess. I also dislike your online bill pay system.
