This new version is atrocious. The UI is ugly and bloated. I’m fairly young and tech savvy, I can only imagine the confusion this new app is causing their older or less tech savvy clients. The layout of things is weird and confusing to navigate. Im also very annoyed they changed the notification system. They use to allow custom push notifications in the app that I could set up to notify me of any transactions amount over my threshold, or balance lower than my set threshold. Now it only send a text at a certain time of the day. I’ll get a text typically the next day, alerting me of a transaction. That’s worthless. No point in having that if it’s not going to be instant. This new version has made me consider switching banks entirely. ### 1/5 — App always down *2025-10-19, version 24.2.60* Why is this app always down? So frustrating to rely on a service you can’t use. ### 1/5 — Login bugs abound *2024-12-06* This review is going to be strictly about the app itself and not with the bank. The app UI is decent enough, but login is very very buggy. Several times a month it will give an “unable to validate credentials” error. I use faceID to login but I also get the same error when typing in my credentials. I was told that it can happen when signal is lacking (this in itself is an issue that should be fixed) but it often does it when I’m on wifi as well. I have family and friends that use this bank and have mentioned having similar issues. My one criticism of the bank itself is that they always seem to place the blame on the user and their device, which is why I am leaving this review instead, so maybe the actual techs will see it. ### 5/5 — FNBC *2024-07-09, version 23.2.10* Your app needs an update. I work night shift and consistently am able to access my mobile banking through the app. ### 4/5 — 👍🏻 *2023-01-26, version 22.2.40* Does a good job but I’d like to be able to change the names of my accounts from the app instead of having to use the website. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2022-12-23, version 22.2.40* When I first got my account I got the app and started using the online banking feature. At first it was super convenient and worked really well. Eventually I got a new phone and I had forgot my password so I had to reset my password. It was a long process but that makes sense it should be a secure process. Once I got the new password I logged in as able to use the app again with no problems. After some time the app stopped working entirely. I called multiple times and nobody is able to help me eventually they told me just to use the website. Using the website is less convenient but it was working then as I needed to deposit a check from my phone I realize that I couldn’t do that using the website it has to be done through the app I called again and they said that the app was working although it’s not working on my end. Nobody really knows what’s going on but I just can’t seem to get the app to work. ### 5/5 — @SelfHelpOils 💜 *2022-12-15, version 22.2.40* I love the ease of online banking for my essential oils business, Self Help Oils, LLC. I am too busy changing lives while creating an income to have to stop by my local branch to make deposits. They freeze my account on a weekly basis because I use my business debit card to much.
