In the personal information section, we should be able to upload a profile picture. ### 3/5 — Playback issues *2025-12-17* The content is great. The UI feels clean. However, I have had multiple issues with being able to watch videos on the app (which is what 90% of the app is). Audio frequently cuts out and I have to pause the video and unpause to get the audio back. This can occur as often as every 30 seconds and ruins the learning experience. There is also some type of bug where changing the video into landscape mode can cause the video and sometimes the whole app to freeze. I have to open and quit the app multiple times to get one video to play. It will for sure freeze the video every single time I change to landscape. This is very frustrating. I have the same issues on my ipad. My only work around is to only use the website for content viewing. When the app works, it’s great. ### 3/5 — Not User Friendly *2025-02-13* Annoying that you can’t rewind 15 seconds (or more) if you want to hear something again without the entire video starting over (sometimes to the detriment of 10+ mins of content). Also, having to click through lessons already covered to catch-up and pickup where you left off is annoying. Finally, the relentless logon requirement isn’t great and there’s no way to review content offline (like on long flights or in areas without good reception - aka hospitals). Good content but the user experience is far from ideal. ### 4/5 — Great Content / App needs work *2024-12-19* This is the most engaging content I have ever used with CEUs. Very informative, and I want to keep learning. The only thing is the app has a bunch of problems time to time, and it’s a huge downer. Another thing I would recommend is to put subtitles. Personally I am a huge subtitle guy, but they is no option for it. ### 3/5 — I wish the app worked better. *2024-05-25* The FOAMfrat team is amazing and the content is comparable to none. However the platform is way buggy. The videos glitch out and restart then won’t allow me to rewind without starting over. Having to restart an hour long module several times to get back to the 30 minute mark makes it to buggy and annoying to use. When I try to go to my profile from the app and get routed to web version it does not load. When I take a quiz it won’t load CEUs until the 5th time and giving up my first born child. You guys keep up the great work!! ### 3/5 — Needs work *2023-07-20, version 1.1.1* It would be nice to have the “learning pathway” option on the app. Also, on iPhone there’s been issues where it doesn’t let you go to the next part of the course. ### 4/5 — Love the company *2023-06-15* I love the company, love the classes. The app is having issues. After my last two live classes, I have completed the tests, but each time it will not let me complete the survey, so I have to start all over on the website. Eventually deleted the app because the website would keep redirecting to the app. ### 4/5 — Needs one thing *2023-03-27* App is so much more convenient than the site! Makes it 10 times easier to get in the daily video. However, when you try and maximize the video to be able to read it, the screen won’t rotate to allow for that. However, trying to get the content to play is a no go. Very frustrating. And yes, I've installed the latest version. ### 1/5 — Can’t login *2025-01-08, version 3.0.6* Just downloaded it and bought the subscription and the link to sign in does not work. 😓 ### 1/5 — Unable to enter bio info. *2024-08-22, version 2.1.0* I am unable to enter the bio information. It will not save the information. With that being the case, it will not allow me to do a course. ### 1/5 — App does not work *2024-04-12* I hate to say it, because I like listening to their podcast, but the app simply does not work. I can only see one video thumbnail and it won’t even show the video when I tap the icon. Instead, it just took me straight to the test. The other thumbnail is for the “self-paced” section won’t do anything When I tried to input my certification info, it would not accept the expiration dates. The website did fine with the same info, so I have no clue what the hang-up was. The whole reason I chose this platform was because they had an app that I could use to get CEs away from a computer, but apparently not. ### 1/5 — App works terribly *2024-01-19, version 1.4.1* App works terribly, can’t move on to next video, or it completely skips through the whole program. When I attempt to use the app, all I get is a black screen. ### 2/5 — Disappointed this year. *2024-03-07* Last year the app was amazing. The content was great. But this year, there are so many glitches. The videos don’t load and when they do, I watch the whole video and then the test does not pop up. Why spend the money when it’s not going to work. I’ll find another way to get my hours next year. ### 2/5 — App Issues *2024-02-25, version 1.4.1* The staff at FOAMfrat are exceptionally knowledgeable in the subjects they cover. I am continually humbled by how little I know. That said, I have issues with the app. I am unable to progress through the modules. For instance, I currently only have access to the Podcasts under self paced. I am unable to exit back to the title menu or access any other content. ### 2/5 — Content > App *2024-02-18* The content from FoamFrat is top notch. Very informative and interesting. Some of the best training videos I’ve seen produced. However, the app has some major bugs. It will either skip through the entire lesson down to the last video or not let you move on to the next video after the first one plays. Then comes FoamFrat. Tyler, Sam and the rest of the crew really know how to educate in a way that you don’t want to give yourself a lobotomy with a rusty hand drill. We use FoamFrat service wide. One of the best training decisions we’ve done. The content is put out in a way that goes above and beyond what we “need” to know, but but goes into detail as to the why, how and when. It is presented in a fun, easy to understand way as well. I am envious that I don’t live closer to be able to be part of this amazing group. I know I can trust the clinical accuracy of their content as well as their teaching methods. I know that engaging in the type of medical education found in Studio & across FoamFrat’s blog & podcast creates lifelong learners who are passionate about self improvement and providing high-quality care. Most importantly, I know that FoamFrat is a top-notch company made up of EMS clinicians and educators who are not just amazing at what they do, but are in it for all of the right reasons.
