Focalware Lite calculates sun and moon position for your current location for any date. Use the interactive compass to determine the path and height of the sun or moon. Photographers and filmmakers who are always asked by their clients for the sun, moon and stars, can now deliver. 

Focalware Lite is the free version of the popular Focalware sun position calculator, but doesn't support magnetic declination and is limited to your current location. Download the full version of Focalware, if you want to calculate sun and moon position for anywhere in the world.

*2014-12-27*

Excellent tool for planning sun and moon rise/set photos.  Easy to use and didn't require any setup.  Two nice features, it gives you the angular elevation of sun/moon and percent illumination of the moon. Very handy.  I would give it five stars if it would plot lines on a map showing where rise and set will be.  If the paid version had that capability I would buy it.
