### 5/5 — Thank you Focus bear

*2025-12-22, version 1.4.0*

Focus Bear really helped me build back my schedule.

### 5/5 — Great for focus and daily habits

*2025-12-16, version 1.4.0*

This app has been super helpful in helping me stay on track with habits and tasks! It does it in a way which doesn’t feel too overwhelming and i love the feature which blocks other apps as it genuinely helps me not get distracted. The routines are easy to follow and the app feels extremely user friendly.

### 5/5 — Best app for Focusing

*2025-11-21, version 1.12.1*

I’ve tried many alternatives but I think I’ve found the right app for me to help me focus on my tasks. Love the super strict mode feature, helps me lock in my work!

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-07, version 1.12.1*

Advantage: I appreciate the intensity-escalating notifications for being late (“Late No More”) — they actually wake me up to the fact I’m behind schedule instead of a quiet ping that I ignore.
Disadvantage: Because the app does require you to commit to routines and blocks, if I’m already feeling low motivation or tired the friction to launch it can feel like “one more thing” instead of help.

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-07, version 1.12.1*

Advantage: The "Smart Break" feature nudges me when I've been hyper-focused and reminds me to take a break — which is helpful because I often forget to do that.
Disadvantage: The reward system is cute and motivates me initially, but I find that over time the novelty wears off and I don't feel as driven by it.

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-06, version 1.12.0*

Advantage: The blocking feature works even when I accidentally open a distracting tab - it forces me back, and that's actually helpful Disadvantage: There were a few bugs / crashes reported by me or other users (especially early versions) which made me lose trust.

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-06, version 1.12.0*

Advantage: The routine customization means I can tailor the app to my style rather than adapting myself to a rigid system.
Disadvantage: The price/subscription model felt a bit high for me personally given how much l actually used some features.

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-06, version 1.12.0*

Advantage: The Pomodoro / focus-block mode makes me feel like I have a partner saying "you can do this" — it's motivating.
Disadvantage: The reward/motivation system felt fun at first, but after some weeks I found it got stale and less driving.

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-06, version 1.12.0*

Advantage: I love that it syncs across my phone and laptop — I can start a session on one and pick it up on the other without missing a beat.
Disadvantage: Sometimes I
needed to access an app quickly and the blocking waited too long or made it cumbersome — a bit rigid in
"strict mode"

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-06, version 1.12.0*

Advantage: The morning routine feature gave structure to my day.
Starting with a guided habit in Focus Bear means I'm less likely to waste time before working.
Disadvantage: Occasionally the sync between devices lagged and I found sessions not updated immediately, which broke my flow.

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-11-06, version 1.12.0*

Advantage: I was struggling to stay focused on long tasks, but Focus Bear's distraction-blocking really helped me stay on track and finish without drifting.
It feels like the app is blocking the "open social media" trap automatically.
Disadvantage: The initial setup felt a bit overwhelming - configuring blocking rules, routines and sync felt like extra work before leven started

### 5/5 — 5/5

*2025-11-06, version 1.12.0*

I’ve been using Focus Bear for a while and it really helps me stay on track. The focus timer and gentle blocking make it easier to stay off distractions, and the daily routines keep me consistent without pressure. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and genuinely useful. Highly recommend for anyone trying to focus better.

### 5/5 — PRETTY GOOD

*2025-11-02, version 1.12.0*

I’ve been using Focus bear for a few days now and it’s been a game changer.

I love how it makes me more productive my locking the apps because i would constantly open my social media after every 30 mins or so.

One thing I’d like to improve is more customisable options, ie like a list and selecting dates and times when to block. It’ll be much better but over all A SOLID APP FOR BOOSTING PRODUCTIVITY!

### 5/5 — Excellent Productivity App

*2025-10-30, version 1.12.0*

Focus Bear has not only helped me remain productive while studying/working, but has also helped me fixed my morning and night routines. Its automatic blocking feature has been a blessing to my routine for the past couple of months, and I no longer find myself doom-scrolling before bed or right after getting up in the morning. I have not only found myself having more time in the day to commit to my work and studies throughout the day a result, but also have witnessed improvements in my mood and energy levels.

I also like that the app gives us the flexibility to turn off the blocking for a limited period of time so that we could use a blocked app in case of emergency or just to please ourselves temporarily. After the timer ends, Focus Bear blocks the app so that I can get back to focusing on my tasks at hand.

However, I would like to highlight that this feature does not always work as intended. The app does not resume blocking automatically after the chosen time, even when the phone stays on. Nevertheless, blocking does resume once I open the app again after the timer expires.

The tasks feature is also very handy. I like that we can assign energy levels to each task and filter them according to which tasks will take more or less energy. The ability to organize our tasks into categories called 'projects' is also very handy.

The app also has a stats page that shows users how much progress they are making in terms of setting/following good habits and carrying out focus sessions. I feel like this is a very powerful feature that could encourage many users to engage more with the app, but it ends up awkwardly hidden in the settings tab. These metrics, such as focus streak and habit stats, should maybe be displayed in the homepage, so that users wont have to look for them maybe even never find them throughout their time of using this app.

All in all, Focus Bear is an outstanding productivity app. In an age full of distractions and sedentary habits, this app offers practical tools to help people build routines, stay focused, and organize their workloads. While it has a few minor flaws, its overall impact is overwhelmingly positive. I will give it a rating of 5/5.

### 5/5 — Focus Bear

*2025-10-27*

I absolutely love the Focus Bear app! 🐻💛 It helps me stay focused, productive, and calm throughout the day. I really like how it reminds me to take little breaks and move around — it feels like having a friendly coach who wants the best for you. The design is cute and positive, and it honestly makes working or studying so much easier and more enjoyable. Big thanks to the Focus Bear team for creating something that truly helps people stay on track and take care of themselves at the same time! 💪✨

### 5/5 — Feedback

*2025-10-15*

As a student swamped with assignments and exams, Focus Bear has been a godsend. The habit stacking feature is a game-changer for my study routine. I can set up a sequence of activities like reading textbooks, taking notes, and then doing some light exercise during breaks. The full-screen notifications are impossible to miss, which really helps me stay on track. The distraction blocking function is also very effective. I can focus on my studies without being tempted to switch to social media or play games. What's more, the white noise options create a peaceful atmosphere that enhances my concentration. This app has significantly improved my study efficiency, and I would highly recommend it to all students struggling with focus issues.

**Developer response:** Glad it's been helpful :)

### 3/5 — Recommend

*2026-01-20*

Works well, does its job, but can be buggy.

### 3/5 — Kind of broken

*2025-12-31*

I want to love it, but it doesn’t seem to want to adhere to reasonable routine times. It sets my evening routine to 3 AM no matter what I do, and I just don’t understand why.

### 4/5 — Timing feature doesn't seem to work

*2026-02-02*

As someone pointed out before, the timing feature will reset to whatever you set it as originally. I believe this can be changed via installing and uninstalling the app, however it's still frustrating

### 4/5 — Good for people with ADHD

*2026-01-04, version 1.4.0*

This app is great for habit building, activity schedules and creating organic discipline. I like the app blocking feature a lot. A tutorial to the app would be handy as there is a lot that can be missed out on.

### 4/5 — Transformed my productivity

*2025-09-17*

If you're looking for an app, that actually makes productivity fun and effective, Focus Bear is a must have.

### 5/5 — game changer

*2026-07-20*

I’ve been using Focus Bear for a while now and it’s really helped me stay organized and motivated to do healthy habits as well as complete assignments/work that i’ve been dreading to do. One feature that’s been most impactful (although there are many that I really appreciate) is the customizable blocking. This tool allows me to choose the apps/websites I want to block whenever I start a focus session or when I intend to go to bed. It lets me choose what mode of block I want; the strict or the easy mode. It’s honestly stopped so many nights of doomscrolling (my sleep schedule really appreciates it). Although this review is getting a bit long the highlight of the whole app is the focus session which sets a time for me to work and then gives me a break (with cute bear avatars that suggest the time interval at which I study that is most optimized, the Pomodoro technique for example). This isn’t related to the app but they also have a desktop version for your computer which combined with the mobile app is just chef’s kiss. One last mention is their support team. Honestly, never have I used an app or website where i’ve felt so heard as a user, it’s very easy to reach out to the team with requests for new features or feedback on their existing ones with suggestions for improvement. Overall 10/10, if I could give more stars I would.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-04*

Underestimated for sure. I think this is so much nicer than Tiimo or any other analogues focus apps for neurodivergent people. Recommend.

### 5/5 — Recommend!

*2026-03-17, version 1.16.0*

Focus Bear has really helped me stay consistent and focused. I love how it combines routines with distraction blocking — it actually helps you get things done, not just plan them. Clean UI and easy to use. Definitely recommend!

### 5/5 — Focus Bear has genuinely helped me stay more focused and disciplined throughout the day.

*2026-02-08, version 1.5.0*

I love how simple and intentional the app feels — it doesn't overwhelm you, but actually helps you build better habits step by step. The focus sessions are great for reducing distractions, and the reminders keep me accountable without being annoying. It's especially useful if you're trying to manage screen time, work more deeply, or just be more mindful with your daily routine. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be more productive without burning out.

### 5/5 — Best app for Focusing

*2026-01-28, version 1.5.0*

I’ve tried many alternatives but I think I’ve found the right app for me to help me focus on my tasks. Love the super strict mode feature, helps me lock into my daily work!

### 5/5 — A Promising App for Building and Sticking to Routines

*2026-01-08, version 1.4.0*

I’ve had a really positive experience with FocusBear so far. It’s been genuinely helpful in shaping and fixing my daily routine, and the reminders do a great job of pulling me back on track whenever I drift. I’ve only been using the app for about two days, but even in that short time it’s made a noticeable difference.
The layout feels clean and intuitive, which makes it easy to get started without feeling overwhelmed. I’m mainly focused on improving my current routine, and the app fits that purpose well. That said, I think the quick breaks feature has room to be improved or expanded to make it even more effective.
I’m still getting familiar with all the features, but I’d definitely recommend FocusBear to anyone who wants to build better routines and actually stick to them. After a few days of use, once everything starts to click, the app becomes really handy and helps make each day feel just a little more productive and better than the last.

### 5/5 — A genuinely helpful app especially for ADHD!!!

*2026-01-08, version 1.4.0*

Focus Bear has quickly become one of the most effective productivity apps I’ve used. It’s clear this app was designed by people who actually understand how hard focus and consistency can be, especially if you have ADHD.

I love how it combines distraction blocking with gentle, real-time habit guidance instead of just timers and to-do lists. The morning routines help me start the day with intention, and the smart breaks make it easier to stay in deep work without burning out. Blocking distractions across devices is a game changer, and it feels supportive rather than restrictive.

What really sets Focus Bear apart is how human it feels- encouraging, structured, and realistic. It doesn’t try to shame you into productivity; it helps you build better habits at your own pace.

Highly recommend!!!

### 5/5 — A great app to build good habits and be productive

*2025-12-31, version 1.4.0*

I have loved using Focus Bear as it has been super helpful for managing my ADHD. The guided routines make it so much easier to start tasks and the distraction blocking feature helps reduce procrastination and checking apps when I’m trying to focus on doing my work. I also like that it encourages taking breaks and tracks my progress which is really good at providing me with the motivation to stay on task. Overall , I think it provides a really good structure for daily tasks and it’s great for trying to build better habits to be more productive in a day.

### 5/5 — Very cool app

*2025-12-31, version 1.4.0*

Good to have as an additional tool for forming healthy routines and habits

### 5/5 — Helping You Stay Focused in a World Full of Distractions

*2025-12-29, version 1.4.0*

Focus Bear has been a genuinely impactful app for me. Using it helped me step away from constant social media use and made me more aware of how often I was mindlessly scrolling. Over time, I started recognising when to avoid these habits, something I feel many people my age struggle with without even realising how much time gets consumed by online distractions. The app helped me create a much-needed mental reset and spend my time more intentionally on other activities.

The focus session restrictions are especially effective. In strict mode, the app prevents access to selected distracting apps until a goal is completed, which works as a strong and timely reminder to stay on track. It also supported me in building a daily routine, something I previously struggled with due to poor time awareness and lack of structured planning.

I believe this app has helped me regain a sense of control over how I use my time and attention, which I now truly value.

I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to reduce their dependence on social media and regain focus.

In a world where algorithms are designed purely to maximise engagement, often without regard for the quality of content we consume, Focus Bear feels like a practical and empowering tool to stay mindful, focused, and consistent with personal goals.
