Getting started is now three screens instead of seven — meet your buddy, name it, pick a goal, and you're in. No forms, no keyboard needed.

Your first day is on us: every new install gets 24 hours with all Pro features unlocked — every companion, app blocking, full stats, ambient sounds, no ads.

Also fixed:
• Buttons under the celebration confetti stopped responding to taps
• Speech bubbles vanished mid-sentence while you were still reading

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-17

Your companion finally looks the part. The cat, bunny, fox and dragon now have real artwork instead of placeholders.

Your session also survives the app closing. If iOS shuts Focus Buddy down mid-session — which it will, if you put the phone down and walk away — reopening picks the timer up where it should be, with the time you were away accounted for.

Also fixed:
• Levelling up your buddy now pays the coins it always promised
• Signing in on a second device no longer overwrites your coins, pet or streak
• You can end a session during a break instead of waiting it out
• The "end early" warning now says honestly whether you'll earn anything
• Friend codes no longer collide, so the code you share reaches you
• What you type into a session label never leaves your device
