### 3/5 — I mean ADHD help but paywall it

*2026-08-27, version 4.2.20*

I like it but it loved it it because it’s like hey it’s great for you but also it will onlyyyyyy work properly if you buy it and if not then oopsie daisy you can’t log in or actually there is no login or account of data of ur hard work or account? What account ? You downloaded this app to help yourself? lol lol nah

### 2/5 — Deleted immediately

*2026-08-25, version 4.2.20*

Might be a great app but the fact I’m unable to use it without going through a whole questionnaire thing is so deeply frustrating and actually makes my overwhelm worse - the very reason I downloaded it in the first place.

### 2/5 — Simple app ruined by monetization

*2026-08-24, version 4.2.20*

I’ve been using this app for almost a decade and recently jumped back in after a year or so away and it looks like a mobile game with cluttered UI and an upsell to the subscription in every corner. It’s heartbreaking to see this app become this. Deleted.

### 2/5 — Annoying bug with new update

*2026-08-21, version 4.2.20*

I use this app virtually every working day and otherwise love it. In the last update, there is an annoying bug where the timer simply appears to freeze. If you close the app and start it up again, it starts counting down, from what the correct number should have been. So it seems like it’s freezing in the UI only.

### 4/5 — Great stuff but….

*2026-08-03, version 4.2.20*

Work that price down. It’s hard to value your time sometimes. You ain’t got money and it’s herder. Drop that price.

### 4/5 — Good but getting more complex

*2026-07-27, version 4.2.20*

This app has been my default timer for a long time. I do find that it has become somewhat confusing. For instance, in a recent update, the default setting is to turn off all your other apps on your phone. it's not entirely clear how to change the settings.

### 5/5 — Helpful APP

*2026-07-20, version 4.2.20*

Nice APP

### 5/5 — Issue Summary

*2026-07-20, version 4.2.20*

Issue Summary:
I noticed a problem in how Focus Keeper calculates focus time during a Pomodoro cycle.
Today, I completed the first session normally. In the second session, I had 7 minutes left but had to stop and leave the app from morning until late at night. When I came back at night, I finished the remaining 7 minutes, then completed sessions 3 and 4.
My real focus time for the day was 100 minutes.
However, the Achievements page counted the long break (from morning to night) as if it were focus time, and showed more than 10 hours of focus.
Expected behavior: The app should count only the actual minutes spent focusing, even if a session is paused for many hours.
Actual behavior: When a session is paused for a long time, the app adds the entire real-world gap to the focus total, which makes the daily focus time incorrect.
Please fix this issue so the focus time reflects actual work time only.

### 5/5 — Focus

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-17, version 4.2.19*

I have been using everyday for 18 days and noticed a significant increase in productivity. Defs one of the better apps on the market and 100% worth paying for. Thank you to the dev team.

### 2/5 — Cross-device sync does not work

*2026-07-15, version 4.2.19*

Unfortunately, this mobile app does not sync across Apple devices without the use of iCloud, so data you enter on the iPhone app does not show on the desktop web app or iPad. They need to make it clear upfront the lack of this capability.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-07-15, version 4.2.19*

Great app

### 4/5 — Free version is solid

*2026-07-13, version 4.2.19*

Works well though sometimes I accidentally hit the screen and stop the tuner without realizing it. Maybe it would be better to only have the pause button control the timer.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Used to be a great app

*2026-08-11, version 4.2.20*

It just got way, way, way too busy and convoluted. More bells and whistles. I used to be able to compile a list and immediately adjust the duration. Now it immediately goes to a timer that starts clicking loudly without your permission. You have to take about 3 steps to go into the menu , edit, adjust the time or delete. More bells and whistles is not better. Also you get an ad with no immediately available way to get rid of it. It used to be a simple lista of tasks, 20 minutes on 20 minutes off.

### 1/5 — I Genuinely hate you devs

*2026-08-09, version 4.2.20*

Why did you ruin and add so much bloat to this app. It doesn’t even block apps properly anymore. I Genuinely hate every single one of you.

### 1/5 — Worst app

*2026-08-08, version 4.2.20*

I needed a 25 5 timer, it asks u bunch of questions for 5min and give u a 15 min timer u cant change, lol

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-08-04, version 4.2.20*

Super complicated UI, no easy way to reset. Charged me for a full month for a 5 minute free trial. Awful in every way.

### 1/5 — What have you done?

*2026-07-23, version 4.2.20*

This app has become completely invasive where the default setting is to turn off all your other apps on your phone. I just got the updated version and it's not entirely clear how to change the settings.

### 1/5 — Paid app

*2026-07-15, version 4.2.19*

Waste my time doing a dumb test, just want a timer like the internet one for my phone. Why does this have 5k reviews…?

### 1/5 — It used to be so simple

*2026-07-12, version 4.2.19*

This app a couple years ago used to be so simple - like all I need is a helpful pomdoro timer and that’s it. Now there’s so much on it and so many confusing extra stuff that I don’t need that makes it super hard and confusing to navigate…

### 1/5 — Omg this app has become trash.

*2026-07-10, version 4.2.19*

All I wanted was a timer… and now it has a subscription. Uninstalled never to look at again.

### 1/5 — Too much friction

*2026-07-08, version 4.2.19*

I wanted to focus while listening to my own music, which is the only way I can really focus. Every time I try to start a timer and play my music. My music would automatically go off. I tried selecting and deselect selecting what apps could be blocked and it was just too much friction for me. I struggle with ADHD and this app made things more difficult for no reason with something so basic.

### 1/5 — New update is so much worse

*2026-07-07, version 4.2.19*

Yuck

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Huge Help

*2026-08-24, version 4.2.20*

A friend recommended this to me and it has definitely helped to keep me focused. I’ve always had a difficult time blocking out time to focus on one thing at a time. This app has helped me to carve out time and hold myself accountable for the work I have to get done. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2026-08-21, version 4.2.20*

Helpful

### 5/5 — Super helpful

*2026-08-15, version 4.2.20*

This timer keeps me from burning out too fast when studying. I used to plow through solutions 2 hrs, no breaks, then not want anything to do with studying the rest of the day. The Pomodoro timer makes me take breaks to make sure I don’t disintegrate suddenly because I forgot to eat or drink water. I’ve been able to study waaayy longer and I get to sit outside and take care of myself throughout the day. I found out I don’t actually hate studying. I just don’t know how to listen to my body when I’m deep into the books.

### 5/5 — free version works as advertised

*2026-08-13, version 4.2.20*

### 5/5 — Life changing

*2026-08-11, version 4.2.20*

I particularly like app blocking functions so I can’t get distracted.
