The VISUAL design is great...But the AUDIO, unfortunately, is poorly selected. I am fine with the non vocal noises that seem to come from a clock/telephone; but I DO NOT LIKE how when I press start, I hear a man's GRUNTING and COUGHING. Введя дату и нажимая “done”, приложение вертит даты и не дает выйти из окна и сохранить. И про устройства. Unfortunately my friends abuse an autoclicker to get higher times and are currently at 43920 minutes. This is not acceptable and I hope you can do something about this. I have over 14000 minutes without autoclicker and I am much more honourable. I would like to set the record straight; I am the world record holder. Please add a leaderboard for the highest time achieved. The pomodoro functions are cool too I guess. Please put an end to this cheating in Focus Tomato. ### 5/5 — Simple, yet Packed with Excellent Design *2025-06-12* In a world of many productivity apps and pomodoro timers, this one stands out. Compared to other apps in this genre, this app has a lot of character. The UI deviates from the cut-and-dry minimalism that many other apps have with vintage illustrations and unique typography. It’s a breath of fresh air. The timer for both work and break are easily adjustable, and the ambient sound options are fantastic (big fan of Library and Coffee Shop). Just to clear this up — the illustrations aren't AI. They're composed from licensed stock and vintage artwork, and this design has been in the app since years before AI image tools even existed. I'm a designer and put them together by hand. It sets all task to happening immediately (even simultaneously). It works as a 25min/5min timer only. Update: The rotating drop-down menu where you select the time spins back to the current time. Will continue using it with hopes I made a mistake, but otherwise needs to be corrected. **Developer response:** Hello: Focus Tomato can use the background sounds of other apps at the same time. The reason for the interruption is that Focus Tomato will remember your last white noise setting and start automatically. If white noise was turned on last time, it will stop the background sound of other apps. So if you want to use the background sound of other apps at the same time, please turn off the white noise setting of Focus Tomato. Tomato thank you so much. All the best. ### 3/5 — A very solid pomodoro timer for developers *2021-04-18, version 3.2* Pluses: 1. Time fall through is great. Yes, it sort of defeats the strict nature of pomodoro but pomodoro whole purpose is to help us be productive. If I’m on a roll, I wanna keep going. 2. Visuals are great. A joy to use. 3. Notification sounds actually make me smile. 4. Audio player is a surprisingly good. Took me a while to find it but that’s a fault of UI being too seamless ;) 5. Premium features are cheap and optional, I opted in but features are additive. Minuses: 1. No options. You like the way it was before update? Tough luck, there's no option to reverse the change (eg. Time now displayed in hours and minutes, used to be just minutes) 2. Can't change start of the week, always Sunday. 3. Time being synced to a server is weird. Nit picky nuances 1. Clicking done after rest timer has finished sets finished time to current instead of when it actually ended. 2. No rest timer fallthrough 3. No way to export data 4. Uses general volume for notifications instead of notifications’ volume. If you’re using in app audio feature, expect some very loud coughs :) 5. No notifications controls. Can’t stop a timer from a banner. 6.
