I’ve emailed several times to ask about the “mindful matching” game which I simply do not understand. No response. This is not a great testimonial for the product. Which actually seems alright and worthy of a few stars, but they shouldn’t be just taking people’s money without providing the minimum of support. Even an AI chatbot would be something. They haven’t updated their blog in years. Disappointing. ### 1/5 — Unreliable App and No Support *2025-11-15* I keep losing access to the app because of technical issues on their end, and reaching their support is a huge hassle that takes days. Their phone number doesn’t even work, so that’s not an option either. The membership is pricey, and honestly, I regret buying this device—I should’ve gone with Mendi from the start. ### 1/5 — No customer service *2025-04-29* This company is not run by humans, just bots. You can’t reach anyone ever. I’ve tired online, calling, nothing works. Good product but they can’t run a business like this. ### 1/5 — No support *2025-03-19* I bought this is January with full subscription for life ( not cheap). The app doesn’t recognize my email despite a reset by the support team after a week of trying to get a hold of them. This didn’t work and I’ve tried to reach out to them again. This time it took two weeks and still no solutions. They claim they just went through a reorg. Hopefully somebody can figure out what’s going on over there. ### 1/5 — Unreliable App and No Support *2025-01-28* I lost access to the FocusCalm app and have been unable to get it back. I emailed their support team multiple times with no response, and even tried calling, but couldn’t get ahold of anyone. I feel like I wasted my money on this device, and the lack of customer service is unacceptable. I’ve also seen other users report similar issues with losing access to the app and getting no support. This company doesn’t seem to care about its customers once they have your money. I can’t recommend this product to anyone. ### 1/5 — Beware before purchasing… *2024-07-04* There should be an option for. I starts… I’ve tried multiple times to reach out to the company via their phone number, and their email…no one responds to either! I’ve waited as long as 30 minutes on the phone, no one picks up! I’ve sent multiple emails…no response! I bought the lifetime membership, but can’t access it at all! No help has been given and I’m gonna give it a couple more days, and then it’s going back! I honestly don’t know if this company is even around anymore to be honest. I’ll update in a week if anyone cares to know… ### 1/5 — Lifetime membership why? *2024-01-07* I never write reviews but I was so excited to receive this device and to start using it but this has become a frustrating experience. I bought the lifetime membership/subscription for this device, which I can not access. I have reached out to the company on several occasions. In my most recent correspondence they sent me a PDF with instructions to sign up. I’ve already signed up and had to pay for a monthly subscription just to use the device. I can’t say I’m overly impressed with the device either. You can’t simply do a timed meditation you have to use their goofy games or guided meditations. The app could use some work. Not having access to the service I paid for and the lack of simple features this has made the experience unbearable. ### 1/5 — Disheartened by Focus Calm Device Performance *2023-08-04, version 3.0.1* I recently purchased the Focus Calm device with high hopes of incorporating it into my mindfulness and relaxation practices. Unfortunately, my experience with the product has been quite disappointing, to say the least. From the beginning, I encountered consistent malfunctions with the device, rendering it virtually unusable. Out of the few months I've owned it, I've only managed to use it twice. This is not what I expected after making a significant investment in the product. While I understand that defects can happen even with the most reliable products, the issues I faced were highly disheartening. The inconsistent performance of the device prevented me from fully experiencing its promised benefits. It seems that I may have received a faulty unit, and I genuinely hope that this is not indicative of the overall product quality. In light of these problems, I reached out to the Focus Calm team through email. Regrettably, I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment of my concerns. This lack of customer support has added to my frustration. As a loyal customer, I appreciate the brand's mission of promoting well-being and inner peace. However, I expected better customer service and a quicker resolution to my issue, especially given the premium price I paid for the device. I remain hopeful that my situation is an isolated case, and I genuinely believe that Focus Calm products can offer significant value. Nonetheless, I have requested a refund as I feel it is only fair to be compensated for a product that has not lived up to its promises and has hindered my experience. Despite my current disappointment, I am open to alternative solutions should the Focus Calm team choose to address my concerns. A swift resolution would not only restore my confidence in the brand but also allow me to recommend their products with more enthusiasm. In conclusion, my experience with the Focus Calm device has been marred by consistent malfunctions and a lack of responsiveness from their customer support team. I hope that my review prompts the company to take prompt action and that future customers can enjoy the benefits of their products without encountering similar issues. ### 3/5 — Not saving results *2023-06-02* Have been using this device for several days and the app is not saving data/results for most of the exercises. None of the Programs or Series are saving results or providing the comprehensive feedback that the video states “on the next screen you’ll see your complete results of this series”. The next screen takes you back to the home page of the series and the data is lost. The only things that are saving results are individual exercises. Not a great initial experience, 50% disappointed. ### 2/5 — Buggy App *2023-05-09* Lots of bugs for an expensive App. The audio won’t turn off despite numerous tries. User interface is poorly designed and not at all intuitive. The App breaks when there is connection problems with the headset or it’s removed temporarily from your head while in tracking mode. The graph features are limited and provide very little practical use over time. Overall, I’m disappointed.
