If it’s a night flight, the look out of the window needs to match the time of day or night. The weather isn’t the same, so adding effects such as rain, thunder and lighting, gloomy and so on needs to incorporated into the app. The landing is a bit funny, planes don’t take off and land the way it does. Also, there needs to be the ability to slide the window down with a halo effect to the sun and moon. I felt the pressure and the urge to do what I had to do before the plane landed and I could clearly think that if I stopped a certain task during the flight, the plane would land and I would have my flight would have been in vain. So before each flight, I organized, boarded the flight and did SO much, in such a simple way, because I didn’t spend hours customizing even the smallest things. FocusFlight is productivity to its full potential, putting you in an absolute position of individual focus, without distractions, in the most fluid, dynamic and cool-looking way possible. ### 5/5 — only focus app that works for me *2026-08-04, version 2.0* i've tried a lot of focus apps already and a lot of them have a pay wall for the majority of the features. this app works perfectly even without its pro features but i definitely think that getting pro is worth it. it helps me work well for a few hours at a time AND because of the pause function i can take a break when i genuinely feel tired. ### 5/5 — AMAZING *2026-08-03, version 2.0* From an author, this is the BEST. It’s a really well put together app, utilising the iOS brand kit perfectly. I wish more apps were build this well. I bought the lifetime subscription after the trail because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. If I had to give one bit of feedback it would be to make the tearing of the ticket optional, it’s a little cumbersome on desktop and adds a small amount of friction to starting a timer. For an app that is supposed to help me focus, I had to click a million things before starting. I would like to keep the map visible on the screen while I work, reminding me to stay focused. And behaving like an in-flight map on the TV. But the app won’t resize to be small. After I finished my first journey, I would have liked an easy way to start my next journey from my landing site. This way, I could travel contiguously, layover-style. Instead, I will uninstall. Booking a flight before I start working sounds like a small thing, but it changes how the session feels. I pick where I'm flying from and where I'm going, turn on Airplane Mode so my distracting apps get blocked, and then I just work until I land. The cabin sound in the background helps a lot too. Watching my routes fill up the map and my miles going up keeps me going on days when I really don't feel like starting. One thing I keep thinking about while I'm "in the air" is that it feels like I'm the only person on the plane. It would be amazing if you added a way to see other real users who are focusing at the same time. What I have in mind: See who else is flying the same route as me right now, and where other people are flying from and to See how long each person has already been in the air, so you can see who's on a long-haul session Leaderboards by country and worldwide, so people can compete a little on focus hours Save favorite "passengers" so I can fly the same route with them again later The biggest thing for me is just not feeling alone while I focus. When you know other people around the world are in the air at the same time, it's much easier to stay in your seat and finish the work. A friendly leaderboard would push a lot of us to do one more session too. I think it would bring in a lot of new users.
