## What is FocusScene?

FocusScene: Ambient Focus is an iOS focus timer and ambient soundscape companion designed to help you enter a state of flow without gamified pressure or copyrighted audio. Instead of relying on external music or nature recordings, FocusScene: Ambient Focus generates rain, streams, wind, white noise, campfires, ocean waves, and other soundscapes locally in real time.

In FocusScene: Ambient Focus, you can choose classic Pomodoro presets or customize your own focus and break durations. Before each session, you can set an intention and select a tag; afterward, record a brief reflection and an energy score. All focus sessions are organized into a personal timeline, searchable and filterable by tag, soundscape, and date range.

We understand that interruptions are a normal part of life. That is why FocusScene: Ambient Focus has no virtual punishments. Leaving the app does not break anything, and you can resume your focus session at any time. The procedural soundscape fades in at the start and fades out at the end, with independent volume control and support for mixing two soundscapes at once.

FocusScene: Ambient Focus also includes distraction markers. When notifications, fatigue, environmental noise, or wandering thoughts interrupt you, you can mark them with a single tap without stopping the timer. After the session, an "attention trail" timeline shows when distractions occurred, helping you identify patterns and optimize your environment.

The focus plan and goal features let you set recurring sessions by day of the week, with gentle local reminders before each planned session. Daily and weekly focus goals are displayed in clear progress rings, with positive feedback when you reach them. The statistics page shows your focus duration trends, favorite soundscapes, common tags, and distraction distribution.

All data is stored locally. No account registration is required, and no personal information is uploaded. Soundscapes are generated entirely on your device, eliminating copyright concerns and protecting your privacy. Whether you need a quiet moment of focus or want to build a more sustainable concentration habit, FocusScene: Ambient Focus is a calm and reliable companion by your side.
