You now know in seconds whether you can tolerate a product or not in any situation! No matter whether it's a product, recipe or whatever.

What can the InTolerApp do?
The InTolerApp supports you with all your allergies & intolerances by allowing you to scan barcodes & ingredient lists directly with two practical scanners and immediately see the result / compatibility.

After installation, simply select your intolerances, allergies and other dietary restrictions and get started right away.

You can use the search function to quickly find or look up foods you can tolerate (e.g. fruit, vegetables or spices) or processed foods (e.g. Nutella). You can also give each food its own rating, which then flows directly into the results of the scanner. This means that the InTolerApp is always tailored to you. It is also possible to set products that are tolerable for you, but would be filtered out due to your filters, as tolerable and thus improve your diet step by step. This prevents you from slipping into malnutrition. Special grace period filters also offer you a perfect start after a new diagnosis.

Basically almost everything is supported, if something is missing, just contact support!

Who is behind the app?
My name is Jonah and unfortunately I have been suffering from histamine intolerance for several years. For this reason, I developed the app for myself to make my everyday life easier, as there was no good app available before. In the meantime, after a successful histamine diet with a phase of restriction and build-up, I feel much better and I can eat almost anything again without having to worry about symptoms (you can find an explanation of how to do this in the app). When I uploaded the app to the App Store, the feedback was so positive and good that I got even more involved with it and delved deeper into the technical and nutritional aspects. The result is the InTolerApp version 2.0.

Personne ne devrait subir un colon irritable, en dehors ou en dedans de ses pantalons. Cet application m’a donné les outils pour me débarrasser des inconforts gastriques qui rendaient ma vie misérable. Et pour les autres colons ? Maintenant je peux courir vite pour m’en sauver :)

Die App ist wirklich hervorragend, wenn sie so funktioniert wie gedacht… leider gibt es noch einige Macken. Besonders irritiert mich die unterschiedliche Einordnung der Verträglichkeit (bzgl Histamin) von identischen Produkten verschiedener Hersteller. Außerdem ändert sich manchmal die Beurteilung, ohne dass ich meine Unverträglichkeiten geändert hätte. So habe ich ein Produkt gesucht und es wurde als okay bewertet. Als ich es dann über das plus Symbol dem Tagebuch hinzugefügt habe, war es auf einmal unverträglich (was meiner Einschätzung entspricht).

I am a non-allergy woman. I recently started dating a man with allergies to nuts, shellfish and legumes and this app has been amazing as a back up while I learn how to read food labels for ingredients that he would be allergic to. It really helps me at a glance to figure out if something is safe or not, especially at the grocery store!

Made aware of my sensitivity to histamine 10 years ago.  It’s present in the majority of foods but recently having had a really bad experience after dining out with alcohol included, I was looking for an app that would provide more of a traffic light system.  It is impossible to avoid histamine but would be really good to have the knowledge to lessen your over exposure in any one given day.  I’ve used the app for one day and all but one of my choices contained histamine, I knew this to be the case I don’t need an app to tell me that.

I’m so incredibly thankful for this app! It’s been a lifesaver trying to decipher what I can and can’t eat since developing a number of severe allergies. This app, like many others, charges a high annual subscription rate that’s unattainable for most people with health issues. Additionally, the AI is not only horrible for the environment but WRONG. It tells me that some of the only foods that are safe for me are not safe.

Dairy intolerant and app tells me flora vegan butter and peanut butter which is 100% peanuts are incompatible 🤷‍♂️
