The app works great and is helpful and customizable….until buildings get to lvl 60. Then, you have to either pay a monthly subscription to get later access to buildings, or watch unusually long ads. Also, having watched the ads on a few occasions, I have sometimes had to watch them again because I took a little too long use the message generator. Also, they recently started implementing banner ads. 

I understand the desire to generate revenue and if the expanded building lvls were sold as one time purchase, I would have been more than willing to pay. I’m also more than happy to put up with banner ads. But the subscription model isn’t an option and the video ads are so absurdly long that it’s faster to pop into the calculator app and do the math myself. As things currently stand, I’m trying to build a simple web page that can function as a web app to generate the 1.9 messages myself.

**Developer response:** Thank you for such a detailed and honest review — we truly appreciate it. We understand your frustration, but all this trouble could be avoided for just $10 a year — that’s less than the cost of a couple of coffees in the US.

Our app remains the best tool for FoE players and guilds on iOS, and there’s simply nothing like it on the App Store.

Bonne application mais la version gratuite n’apporte rien de plus que foe tools sauf d’être obligé de regarder des pubs pour le même service. 
La version payante n’aurait donc un intérêt que si l’on retrouvait des services supplémentaires comme avec foe helper sur ordi. 
Je peux comprendre la nécessité d’être rémunéré mais j’ai également des contraintes budgétaires et je ne suis prêt à investir que pour un service utile que je ne peux pas trouver gratuitement.

Equipe réactive en cas de buf 👍👍.
Bonne application très pratique mais que jusqu’au level 60.

En effet, à partir du lvl 60 vous devez visionner une pub. Si dans ma foulée vous voulez aller sur un autre gm lvl 60 eh bien il faut revisionner une pub, cela décourage à utiliser l’application au delà du lvl 60.
Foe tools et Foe assistant ne présentent pas ce soucis. Il faudrai donc revoir le système de gratuit/payant et pub.

Nous avons des dépenses pour les développeurs et les serveurs, nous devons donc monétiser grâce à la publicité. Mais vous pouvez souscrire un abonnement annuel pour le prix de deux tasses de café et oublier les inconvénients de la publicité.

I try to use this, but when I leave the app and then go back in I have to enter all information again like it’s the first time using the app, even after watching ads.

There is ability for promotion message, however there is no way to copy/paste position values.  Would be useful app if you could have a fixed prefix template for all GBs, then copy feature after fill positions are calculated

**Developer response:** You are deceiving users with your review, such functionality has been in the application since the first version of the App. Be careful! Read the manual :)

The best foe calculator on App Store by far. I’d have put 5 stars if I’d have been available to find myself and my guild on the app. Apart of that is a good tool and it’s free 👌

Habe die App gerade installiert, spiele auf dem deutschen Server in der Welt Yorkton.
Leider ist die nicht gelistet und ich kann somit die Welt in der ich spiele nicht auswählen.

Deleted Foe Companion so you have to use Foe helper which you either have to pay to use or watch an ad. Typical way that inno is going that if you spend money you get better cities and if it keeps going like this I will not be playing much longer.

**Developer response:** FoE Helper is not Inno. We have created the best version of the foe calculator in the App Store. The App cannot be free, it requires expenses for the server, developers, design and taxes. It is bad that there are those who do not understand this and puts 1 star :(

Unverschämt ist es schon 1€ die Woche zu Verlangen, da die Kostenlosen Rechner das Gleiche Bieten.
Außer das man die Lvl selber eigeben muss .

Wir verstehen, dass eine App mit Werbung nicht jedermanns Sache ist – genau deshalb kann man sie per Abo ausschalten. Das Jahresabo kostet dabei kaum mehr als ein paar Tassen Kaffee und unterstützt die Weiterentwicklung der App.
Wichtig ist aber unser größter Vorteil gegenüber allen kostenlosen Rechnern:
FoE Helper bietet detaillierte Spieler- und Gildenprofile – eine Funktion, die kein anderer Rechner hat.
Viele Nutzer kommen genau deshalb zu uns, weil wir weit über reine Level-Rechner hinausgehen.
Trotzdem danke, dass Sie die App ausprobiert haben. Vielleicht geben Sie ihr später noch eine Chance!

We’re sorry to hear that the app didn’t meet your expectations. FoE Helper includes many features that go far beyond basic calculators — such as detailed player and guild profiles, advanced tools, and regular updates that no free alternative provides.
The app is completely usable with ads, and the optional subscription (priced roughly like a couple of coffees per year) simply removes ads and supports further development.
We appreciate you giving it a try, and we hope you might explore the full feature set — most users discover that the app becomes much more valuable once they do.

Nous sommes désolés que l’application ne vous ait pas semblé intéressante au premier abord. FoE Helper propose pourtant des fonctionnalités que personne d’autre n’offre, notamment les profils détaillés des joueurs et des guildes, ainsi que des outils avancés pour optimiser votre progression.
L’application reste entièrement utilisable gratuitement avec publicité, et l’abonnement — qui coûte à peine le prix de quelques cafés par an — sert uniquement à retirer les pubs et à soutenir le développement continu.
Merci d’avoir essayé l’app. Nous espérons que vous lui donnerez une seconde chance en découvrant toutes ses fonctionnalités !

Ich diese app nicht nutzen kann leider.
Ich spiele auf yorktown und diese welt ist auf der app leider nicht gelistet.
Yorktown gibt es schon länger, Daten müssten mitlerweile vorhanden sein

**Developer response:** Lieber Nutzer. FoE Helper ist in erster Linie ein Gebäuderechner. Dazu müssen Sie Ihren Spieleserver und Ihre Welt nicht auswählen, um den Rechner zu verwenden. Wir haben erst vor Kurzem die Möglichkeit hinzugefügt, Spieler und Gilden anzuzeigen. Wir beziehen die Informationen aus offenen Quellen. Da nicht auf alle Informationen schnell zugegriffen werden kann, haben wir diese Funktion KOSTENLOS zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir haben die App verbessert, es gibt in keiner App im AppStore ähnliche Inhalte und Sie haben uns 1 Stern gegeben. Wir sind verärgert.

Nach einem Tag muss man für jede Berechnung ein Werbevideo ansehen. Wenn man Pro abonniert kann man die App ohne Werbung nutzen. Es wird leider nicht erklärt ob Pro noch irgendeinen weiteren Wert beinhaltet. Würde einem etwa die Möglichkeit geboten mehrere LG gleichzeitig (“merken”) zu kopieren, dann würde ich Pro sogar abonnieren aber nur zum Werbung abstellen? Nein danke, da bleib ich lieber bei myfoe. Kost nix, ohne Werbung.

**Developer response:** Lieber Nutzer. Du schreibst, dass es nirgends eine Erklärung zur PRO-Version gibt. Sie liegen falsch. Auf dem In-App-Kaufbildschirm können Sie 3 Werte sehen, die Ihnen die PRO-Version bietet. Fans von Forge of Empires lieben FoE Helper und wir verdienen definitiv keine 1-Stern-Bewertung dafür, dass wir die Besten sind!

Nous comprenons que la publicité puisse être agaçante. C’est justement pour cela que l’app reste entièrement gratuite avec pub, et que l’abonnement — dont le prix annuel équivaut à quelques cafés — sert simplement à les retirer.
En revanche, FoE Helper propose aussi des fonctionnalités que vous ne trouverez nulle part ailleurs, notamment les profils détaillés des joueurs et des guildes. Beaucoup d’utilisateurs choisissent l’app pour cette raison, même en version gratuite.
Merci d’avoir essayé l’application — nous espérons qu’en découvrant toutes les options, vous y trouverez plus d’intérêt.

You can pay .99 cents a week or watch adds. After using this app a few minutes. The screen was blurred and I was required to watch an add. I watched said add. Add ended. The only option was to Go to App Store. Which I did. At the point my only option was to DL the game app from the advertisement or go back to the actual advertisement. I went back to the advertisement. There was no X to exit. The only oepoin was to go back to the App Store. So I did. Then back to the game advertisement. Still nothing. I waited about a minute. Then repeated. Still no other option. I swiped the App off my phone. The. Opened the app back. Only to see my screen was still blurred out with the requirement to watch an add. So I uninstalled and went back to using my browser. Other than that it was really koolc how you can look up your history or any players. Even Guild and the. Guilds members have been a part of in the past. Ditching for guilds and members did not always work though. Even if they are spelled right. I looked up my other account and it said not found. I looked up the guild my other account was in being sure to spell it correctly. It sailed “not found”. I then made a partial spelling of the guild and scrolled down the list. I found said guild. I then found my other character in the guild. I was then able to look up that characters information. Which was. . it even had dates of when I changed guilds. If you’re an avid, FOE fan and you’re willing to pay $.99 per week. It’s a very cool app. Or hopefully the watch ads feature will work for you.

I was using another app like this, and decided to check this one out. At first I didn’t really give it a chance. Then a few weeks went by and I put more time into it. And to say I’m blown away is an understatement!! So easy to use, to copy&paste. Also can set any Arc bonus for P1-P5. Has all the new SASH gbs and also links up to the world you play in and shows your stats! Well worth using, and I even paid the yearly fee($10) since I love it so much!!
