LESS BATTERY On screen, tracking runs at GPS accuracy instead of navigation grade. Off screen, it stops entirely. KILOMETRES OR MILES Settings has a Units switch. Phones set to the US come up in miles and mi²; everyone else stays in kilometres. Change it any time.
