## What is Fog?

Welcome to Fog, a notes app that organizes itself.

I struggle with organizing my notes, creating folders, figuring out what goes where, selecting things manually… the list goes on. So I built an app that aims to solve this.

Just write. Fog automatically groups your notes into smart collections called Clouds, so you always know where everything is, without lifting a finger.

Powered by Apple's on-device Foundation Models (on Apple Intelligence-supported devices), Fog understands what your notes are about and organizes them intelligently. Your notes are stored locally using SwiftData and synced seamlessly across your devices via iCloud — no third-party servers, no accounts, no data sharing.

Features
- Auto naming, notes become a canvas for your thoughts
- Auto grouping: canvases sort themselves into clouds as you write
- On-device AI: powered by Apple's Foundation Models, works fully offline
- Private by design: no third-party servers, your data stays in your ecosystem
- iCloud sync: seamlessly available across all your Apple devices
- Personal: choose a color theme, font, and even a personality for the AI

## Key features

- Automatic note grouping into smart clouds
- On-device AI for intelligent organization
- Offline functionality
- Private by design with local storage
- Seamless iCloud sync across Apple devices
- Customizable themes and AI personality

Could we have a option to password lock the notes?

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! I can definitely consider that for a future release. In the meantime, it should be possible to password-protect the app itself by long-pressing on the app for better privacy.

### 5/5 — Great Organization!
