Firstly, this extension is absolutely useless, cannot carry out its purpose.
Secondly and most importantly, I think this app put some MALWARE on my Mac. I kept getting pop ups saying McAfee has detected a virus: clear it now. 
Please be safe and STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP

An app installed in the Apps folder. All this app does is open a window that says, "You can turn on Fokus's extension in Safari Extensions preferences." Thre is also a button that says, "Quit and Open Safari Extension Preferences ..." But the button doesn't do anything and there is no extension in Safari extension preferences.

I am using Big Sur 11.6.1. I have the free version of Avast Security installed. The only Safari extension installed is 1Blocker.

**Developer response:** Sorry it didn't work for you. After researching this further it seems to be a long standing Safari bug. There are people online reporting this bug from multiple years ago. https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/112057

I assumed it was only a bug in macOS 12.0.1 because it was working for me in both macOS 11.6.1 and 12.1 beta but it seems to be an intermittent bug that can happen in many versions of macOS and Safari.

Unfortunately I didn't find any easy workarounds. This forum post suggests resetting your launch services database. I haven't tried that and don't really recommend that you do so but feel free to try these suggestions if you would like to. https://community.bitwarden.com/t/solved-missing-bitwarden-extension-in-safari/30062/32
