As a teacher, however, I would love to have more animals included! ### 3/5 — crashes when printing every time *2014-04-21* CONS: App needs fixed! Crashes when printing to HP photosmart series. From other reviews it appears to crash on most printers. The work-around is to email yourself a PDF of the animal and then print from mail. App needs more animals! Only has 10, most are the same base shape. PROS: The app is smart enough to remember what you were doing and will recover your customizations after crash/non-print. Customization of your animal is live. You paint on right side of screen and view the rendered 3d on left. Gives a true view of what your final folded animal will look like. ANALYSIS: Needs two or three more base shapes. The overall idea is awesome, but the content is underdeveloped. Must be able to print without crashing to justify current price. Great but... *2020-02-16* First off, a genuine, heart-felt THANK YOU to the developers for a suite of apps that can provide immense fun and countless opportunities for learning and problem-solving. Now to what needs immediate —I mean immediate— attention: The Zoo online library is not loading at all (We have a strong cable WiFi connection). The Guides for each app are not loading either. Wrote twice to the honorable developers. No response. This was a Valentine’s present (yes, I bought the whole package for $14.99, although I already had the free Foldify , which I love) for my niece. The Guides (a how-to for each app) are very much needed. Why? Because it is not that simple to build an actual paper model. It looks self-explanatory when you review the models online. Just print, cut, fold, glue, you’re done, right? NOT SO AT ALL! What kind of paper to print on? What kind of glue is best? Which fold to glue first? Which fold to glue last? Should we score the fold lines first? Yes, I am a techie by trade (Apple expert) and have infinite troves of patience. But finishing 3 personalized hearts in time for a family Valentine’s Day dinner almost pushed me over the edge. How do you finish glueing-shut a heart-shaped box without disturbing or tearing other sides? Are some tabs tucked and glued inside the wall, and some tabs meant to be glued outside? Now you see what I mean. Each model has its own challenge, which a well-made Guide must cover, with clear explanations. A minor nuisance: the online library in Foldify shows 3 categories: “Best,” “Trending” and “Newest”. I don’t know what kind of algorithms govern those, but don’t expect “Best,” for instance, to be true to your expectations: some show plain blank models uploaded for some reason that defy the imagination. All told, have fun! The possibilities are endless, hoping the developers can give us a much-needed help here. ### 4/5 — Great app for School Age Children *2014-10-18* Like app and I use it with my SAC job. ### 4/5 — Good idea *2014-05-05* E mail the pdf to yourself and print from there.
