## What is Folio?

Turn any book into an audiobook. No internet needed.

Folio narrates 50,000+ classic novels in natural AI voices —
entirely on your device. No streaming, no account, no
subscription. Download once, listen anywhere.

WHY FOLIO

Most audiobook apps need a connection and a monthly fee. Folio
runs its AI narration engine directly on your phone. On a plane,
on the metro, in a village with no signal — it works the same.

READ OR LISTEN. OR BOTH.
Follow along with word-by-word highlighting as the narrator
reads, or put your phone away and just listen. Switch between
them whenever you like — your place is always saved.

VOICES THAT SOUND HUMAN
Choose from multiple AI narrators with distinct character and
tone. Folio even detects dialogue automatically and gives
different characters their own voices, like a full-cast
recording.

AMBIENCE WHILE YOU READ
Layer in rain, café, ocean, or forest sounds. Built for people
who need a little atmosphere to stay in the story.

50,000+ BOOKS INCLUDED
Every classic from Project Gutenberg, ready to download:

Jane Eyre · Moby Dick · Crime and Punishment · The Great Gatsby ·
Alice in Wonderland · Treasure Island · The Picture of Dorian
Gray · Wuthering Heights · The Count of Monte Cristo · Anna
