## What is Folio Notes?

Folio is a notebook that feels like paper but does a great deal more. It works without an account, without a connection, and without a single note ever leaving your phone.

FIVE DISTINCT THEMES
Folio is not stuck with one look. Switch the theme and the colours, typeface, card edges, background texture, illustrations, widgets — and the app icon, if you like — all change together:
• Studio — riso-print stationery, warm paper and inked outlines
• Storybook — gilded storybook pages, lace textures and a crowned medallion
• Comic — bold outlines, halftone dots and action bursts
• Cosmos — star charts, a ringed planet and deep night blue
• Herbarium — linen texture, sage green and pressed leaves
Every theme was designed separately for light and dark mode.

A CALM PLACE TO WRITE
• Rich text: title, heading, quote, code; bold, italic, underline, strikethrough
• Seven text colours and a highlighter
• Shortcuts: "# " makes a heading, "- " starts a bullet, Return continues the list for you
• Bulleted and numbered lists, undo and redo
• Choose the editor typeface (sans, serif, mono) and text size

MORE THAN TEXT
• Drag-to-reorder checklists with a progress bar and confetti when everything is done
• Add photos, take a picture or scan a document
• A sketch pad for Apple Pencil or your finger (plain, dotted, lined or grid paper)
• Voice memos with a live waveform
• Pull the text out of any image (English and Turkish)

STAY ORGANISED
• Colour-coded folders with icons, tags, pins and favourites
• Smart collections: checklists, media, reminders, locked notes, archive
• Masonry, grid and list layouts; sort by date, title or colour
• Fast search with highlighted matches
• Calendar view and a writing streak
• Insights: a 14-day chart, colour mix and your most used tags
• Templates: meeting, journal, recipe, trip, weekly plan and more
• A trash that keeps deleted notes for 30 days

HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
• Quick capture: a note, list, sketch or voice memo in one tap
• Pinned notes: what you pinned and what you wrote last
• Checklist: tick items off without opening the app
• Single note: keeps one note, with its cover, in view
• Lock Screen widgets: new note button, next reminder and counters

PRIVACY
• Your notes stay on your device
• No account, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking, no analytics
• Lock private notes with Face ID or your passcode, or lock the whole app
• Camera, microphone and photo permissions are only requested when you use that feature

ALSO
• English and Turkish, switchable inside the app
• Reminders with notifications
• Share as PDF, Markdown or plain text; export every note into one file
• Spotlight search and Siri shortcuts
• No internet connection required
