## What is Folklore?

Folklore is the private family tree you can actually share — build it together with your family over iCloud, with partners, half-siblings, and adoptive ties recorded the way they really are.

Build your family tree, record the people who matter, and keep every name, date, story, and photo in one place — stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud. Your family history is yours alone. We can't see it, and it never lives on our servers.

Family Poster (Pro): turn your whole family tree into a beautiful poster, like the ones you see shared online. Pick a colour theme or your own colours, add a family quote, tap anyone to add their photo, then zoom, pan and share it.

Fixed: sharing your tree now works. A bug stopped invites from going through in 1.0 — family you invite now see your tree and their changes reach you.

Invite family through private iCloud sharing and everyone can add relatives and fill in details — changes sync to all of you. Removing someone always comes back to you for approval, so nothing disappears without your say-so. Prefer to keep control? Invite someone view-only and they can still send suggestions.
