## What is Follicle Control?

Follicle Control is your personal system for managing a hair care plan — bringing your routine, reminders, progress photos, symptoms, and results into one clear timeline.

More than a reminder app, it helps you stay consistent, understand your progress, and prepare clear information for your dermatologist.

PERSONALIZED CARE PLAN

Complete a quick questionnaire and build a routine tailored to your needs. Add medications, vitamins, topical products, shampoos, procedures, dosages and schedules.

When your protocol changes, a new version can begin on a selected date while previous routines remain preserved in your history.

YOUR DAY, CLEARLY ORGANIZED

See everything you need to do today:

• Current course phase and day
• Daily goal and completion rate
• Scheduled products and procedures
• Dosages and instructions
• Photo check-ins
• Course pulse and recent activity

Mark actions as completed, skipped, or rescheduled. You can also log an action from the previous day using the actual completion time.

SMART REMINDERS

Receive morning, daytime, and evening reminders that reflect changes to your care plan.

TRACK SHEDDING AND SYMPTOMS

Record hair shedding and monitor changes over time.

Keep a symptom and side-effect journal with severity, date, and care-plan context. Follicle Control organizes important observations without generating diagnoses or unsupported medical conclusions.

CONSISTENT PHOTO PROGRESS

Follow a guided photo protocol across multiple areas:

• Hairline
• Crown
• Top
• Left and right sides
• Back of the head
• Custom areas

The guided process prevents incomplete photo sessions. Day 0 photos remain your baseline, while later check-ins are matched by area and date.

Compare before-and-after photos with an interactive slider. Photo checks help maintain consistent lighting, angle, distance, focus, and positioning.

COURSE INSIGHTS

Track meaningful metrics:

• Routine consistency
• Completed and missed actions
• Hair shedding
• Photo check-ins
• Symptoms and tolerance
• Changes over selected periods

The interactive course visualization reflects your logging activity. It is not a measurement or prediction of hair density.

TREATMENT AND PROCEDURE LIBRARY

Explore information about commonly used products, medications, and procedures, including minoxidil, finasteride, dutasteride, ketoconazole, vitamin complexes, microneedling, laser procedures, and more.

Entries may include intended use, available evidence, expected timelines, limitations, risks, and when professional medical advice may be appropriate.

REPORTS FOR YOUR DOCTOR

Create a clear PDF report that may include:

• Current routine and dosages
• Previous course versions
• Completed and missed actions
• Symptoms and side effects
• Hair shedding trends
• Progress photos
• Changes by date

Preview the report before exporting or sharing it.

LAB RESULT TRACKING

Add laboratory results, compare values, review trends, and connect them to the relevant stage of your care plan.

DESIGNED FOR CONSISTENCY

Follicle Control includes subtle haptic feedback and optional sound confirmations for completed actions, rescheduling, photo sessions, and important alerts.

The app supports English and Russian, protects private information, and provides tools for data export and deletion.

Follicle Control does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace advice from a qualified dermatologist, trichologist, or healthcare professional. Consult a medical professional before starting or changing a treatment plan.

Auto-renewable subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Exact prices, billing periods and available introductory offers appear before purchase confirmation. Purchases can be restored.
