However, I would like to request an update with the texting mechanism. Sometimes when you are typing, the text box goes behind the keyboard and you can’t see what you’re typing. You can’t copy and save it. You can’t hit send you simply have to start over by backing out. It would be fantastic if you guys can fix that. ### 2/5 — Browser vs app *2026-08-01, version 6.07.1300* Follow up boss as a browser and system is incredible. The app is atrociously slow. I spend 45-60 seconds at a time trying to load my inbox. It’s common as well for names not to populate then try a few minutes later and it populate just fine. It is incredibly hit or miss. If we can fix the loading then it’s a 5 star all day. ### 3/5 — Not where it should be *2026-05-20, version 6.05.0400* Follow Up Boss has some solid core functionality and, unfortunately, is still probably better than many of the alternatives in the real estate CRM space. But that says more about the market than it does about the app itself. The biggest frustration is the lack of basic functionality and reliability in areas that should be foundational for a CRM at this price point. There are frequent moments where you find yourself wondering, “Why can’t this do something so simple?” or “How is this still broken?” The Apple/iPhone app in particular has ongoing issues, feels buggy, and lacks polish. Notifications being down for nearly a week is completely unacceptable for a CRM platform that agents rely on for real-time communication and lead response. In real estate, missed notifications can literally mean missed business. There’s definitely potential here, and the platform does some things well, but the execution and consistency often fall short of what professionals need from a mission-critical system. ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2026-04-22, version 6.04.0600* It’s pretty glitchy. I’ve missed several important communications because the inbox doesn’t notify you right away. I do like that it records the conversations, but it makes responding quickly harder compared to just texting a client. ### 2/5 — Lack of integration *2026-03-03, version 6.02.0901* I would love for FUB to be able to work with my Apple CarPlay so I could get text notification while I’m driving and respond. Or make a phone call in FUB. Currently all this requires me touching my phone while driving, which we know is unsafe and against the law in many places. Also, I really thought I got notifications on my Apple Watch before, but I am not now and I can’t find where FollowUpBoss could even be installed. So it’s great to have an app. But the app lacks quite a bit of functionality that you would expect it to have. Being on the go, I’d love it to be more powerful and rely less on having to get to my desktop computer. However, it seems there are still some areas that could use improvement and there hasn’t been any substantial updates in a long time. Like the ability to send pics or files from your phone through the App. And they need to integrate more of the desktop/laptop features into the mobile app like the ability to add a new contacts address on the initial Add contact page, and the ability to simply use the return button to move to the next field, and the default should always be to begin the next field with a capital letter. These are some basic functionality things that are rudimentary on nearly all other apps. That being said, still the #1 CRM for REALTORS. ### 3/5 — Loosing my love for this company *2024-12-01, version 4.11.18* Don’t use the FUB phone numbers, and now I can’t even text outside the app. What was once a company on the cutting edge of real estate crm’s now seems outdated and out of touch. 100% blame Zillow for this ### 3/5 — Comes up as potential scam to leads *2024-11-25, version 4.11.18* This CRM is great, I’m still learning how to use it and it’s been so helpful. However, I have one issue and it affects my business. When I call through FUB, it comes up on the other side as “potential scam”. My last lead told me that. I can’t have potential leads lost because they think I’m a scam. I don’t know how this could be fixed if anything, I really like the calling feature in FUB since it allows me to grab summaries from them and listen back to them. Texts are great to keep all on this app and not on my personal phone. Please look into this! ### 3/5 — Great desktop CRM *2024-10-12, version 3.12.1500* I just started using FUB , so far love it. The customer service is great. My two big issues are I can’t use it on my iPad, we’ll barely or my cell. I need to be able to function with out my laptop. For that reason alone I may not renew. In todays world we need to be mobile. Also not comfortable with Zillow havin anything to do with my data base. I save the wife’s name as primary contact and husband’s name as related (spouse) contact. Now if I search within people on my iPhone app with the husband’s name. I get a search result but clicking it does nothing. I file a support ticket and they says it’s a bug but they don’t know when they will fix it and want to search by the primary name. I cannot believe such key bugs will not fixed within a finite timeline. I have to use the computer to see my 30k leads. Ponds disappeared. On my android I can only see all the leads and I cannot sort by ponds at all or see only my leads. I need 2 phones to even use the app. It only works right on a computer. Premier agent is actually better for finding out people. ### 1/5 — Wrong Phone Numbers *2025-02-08, version 5.1.2700* The MAJOR ISSUS I face with the app IS if your a team user who uses the team phone numbers the solution brakes. When utilizing the app, you can’t select the phone number that you want to call out with it only calls out and texts with your follow up boss phone number that’s associated with your account even if you received a call from another number. This is an easy fix to solve as they use Twilio for there VOIP stack. Instead of fixing this, they’re working on Ai when you can’t even get a hold of your client on the right phone number. FUB only does updates that benefit them for example Ai is big now so they are expanding on that instead of fixing major issues with emails.
