I think I forgot to cancel my subscription and they charged me 3 days after I downloaded it ### 3/5 — The update kind of ruined it *2026-05-30* I really like this app a lot when it first came out it was really outstanding, but after the last update, I have to login every time I open the app ### 2/5 — Great idea, terrible product *2026-05-20* The app does what is advertised, but all the bugs and glitches (at a very high subscription price!) make it unusable: - logs you out (apple log in) everytime you look at another app and then crashes, forcing you to restart the app and log back in - it lists people who have deactivated their account as well, increasing your work to find the actual unfollowers (searched through 188 profiles, found 1 actual unfollower) - the free version is useless, merely a preview. ### 2/5 — Not consistent, very glitchy *2026-04-15* I bought the membership and download the required data from instagram. However, when I uploaded the file into this app and start reviewing the “unfollows”, the app doesn’t move those accounts you viewed to their “viewed” section. You have to go over the list so many times and keep seeing the very same names of “unfollowers” over and over. When you switch to “viewed” then back to the “Non-viewed” tab, it add all the accounts that you already viewed back to the list. It’s a never ending list of which most accounts are not even active. If you go through a lengthy list, IG will eventually restrict or block you from viewing profiles. It says now I have 2000 unfollowers! Definitely not as when I checked they were still following and on top of that the app provided ones I was not following but they were following me. Unreliable. The app should be able to be reset to erase all the previous runs, especially when it’s inaccurate. Found it hard to find someone to fix this. Besides the fact it has 2 reviews and one of them calling them literally a scam and the developer calling the reviewer “uneducated”. I bought the subscription because otherwise they dont let you see the “non-followers” and when I put the data that the instagram gave me I had like most of my followers list in there at the “non followers” section and when I was checking their accounts they were all following me. Dont waste your time with these scam apps. If u ever see this comment after coming here leave a report to the App Store hopefully they remove this senseless deception ### 1/5 — Misleading Money Grab *2025-12-23* Terrible app setup, throws you into the process of finding unfollowers only to then restrict you from seeing so until starting a subscription. This is understandable but annoying as the app focuses on making it seem as if the process comes without a charge to then throw a paywall at you 👎 ### 1/5 — Don’t fall for “free” *2025-12-16* It is not free. It gets your info and document and then asks for 65$ yearly subscription. No monthly no weekly or biweekly. **Developer response:** There is a 3 day free trial! You are free to cancel your subscription at any time during the 3 day free trial to avoid being charged! We do offer monthly and weekly subscription on our mobile app :) ### 1/5 — Costs money *2025-12-04* After all that time exporting my info it says I can’t use it unless I pay $65 🙁 **Developer response:** You are able to run the audit without paying for the subscription during your free trial! You are free to cancel your subscription any time during the 3 day free trial after running an audit if you do not think FollowBuddy is for you! :) We charge a subscription fee because we too have fees and costs to make sure FollowBuddy can stay up and running! ### 1/5 — It’s not safe *2025-11-30* Sure, you don’t need password, but you need to share all of your personal Instagram data. Plus, if Instagram changed the data structure - which they often do - then the app will not work. If you really want to see your statistics just get an AI engine to write you a script and follow the instructions. Do not use this app. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2025-11-28, version 1.2.9* Downloaded my data, made an account, signed up for the free trial and uploaded everything all for them to tell me that I can’t see my unfollowers until the fifth day (after the free trial ends so they can get their money). It’s called a hustle I get it, but if you want a free app, this app isn’t it unless you want to pay $50. Definitely not worth the money they charge for it. And, you can only check one account. They want an additional $50 to check more than one.
