## What is FOMO Events & Friends?

Good times are better together. FOMO Events brings events, your friends, and member perks into one place—so the next “we should go” becomes a real plan.

Find something worth going out for. Explore upcoming events and festivals, search by place or interest, filter by date or free admission, and save a shortlist. Read member ratings and share your own experience after an event.

Make it happen with friends. Pick an event, invite your people, choose where to meet, and see who’s in. Keep in touch through private chats and photo posts. When you’re out, choose friends to share your location with for up to an hour, with a clear stop control.

Bring someone new along. Choose friends from your contacts, personalize each invitation, and send it yourself. Your address book stays on your device.

Keep your tickets together. Book available paid tickets or free RSVPs and find your admission codes in Tickets. Joining a shared plan does not book admission; event and ticket terms apply.

Enjoy something extra. Discover member promotions, save the ones you like, and share offers with friends. Eligibility, participating locations and validity dates are shown with each offer. Some offers require FOMO Plus.

Your existing FOMO rewards, gifts, points and games are still here, with easy access from Profile and My Stuff. Optional permissions stay optional, and you can manage privacy, report content, block members and delete your account in the app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.7 — 2026-10-20

The box you're typing in now stays in view above the keyboard on every screen, so you can always see what you type. Buttons like Send Code and Create plan stay within reach while you type.

### 1.2.6 — 2026-10-18

Sign in first and everything is yours: tickets, plans and friends are ready the moment you open the app. Find friends who are already on FOMO from your contacts, only when you ask and with nothing stored. Plans start with a ticket: book your spot, then make a plan and share your location with your group for the hour you meet up. Events can now limit tickets per person. The Friends and event pages are simpler and easier to read. The Whack-a-FOMO mini game has been removed.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-10-10

A new Home with event posters up front and your plans and friends right below. Add friends from your contacts, several at once, invite people who aren't on FOMO yet, and friends you invite are added automatically when they join.

### 1.2.4 — 2026-10-09

Removed the sample experience. Events, friends, rewards and activity now show live data, with clear empty states when nothing has been added yet.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-29

An icon-only navigation bar with Liquid Glass on supported devices. Improved guest navigation when returning from sign-in.
