NOWNI WILL HAVE TO SEE IF I CAN GET MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO HELP! ### 1/5 — This camera and app Sucks! *2026-08-04, version 6.2.0* I finally got this camera connected, it’s outside, and it will only record in 2 ways: an image; and a 6 second video. It does NOT record videos even when I am waving right in front of it. It records only when it “feels like it.” THe picture quality is not that great. Every time you open the app, it takes a while to connect. Every time, even if it is 10 seconds apart. I also THINK it is intrusive, as it HAS to have location, access to my photos (WHY??!!), and probably I think access to my devices. I will Chuck this one and find another solar cam. It’s rare that more than 2 will show video at a time. Sometimes none will show live video. We have power and a strong WIFI signal. They keep trying to connect but don’t. Look an hour later and maybe they will work maybe they won’t. Very frustrating and I don’t recommend them at all. Almost useless for my purpose. ### 1/5 — Awful software *2025-09-01* An app that primarily collects personal data and also connects to your camera. Read the privacy policy. It’s hundreds of pages long. Longer than the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire. Can’t download images without giving full access to your entire photo album. Wants to know your precise location— but precise location can be disabled after installation. Even with very strong and super fast wi-fi, connectivity is poor. Luckily, the inexpensive cameras that I bought were for alerting me when packages were delivered so I can get the packages before they get wet or hot sitting in the sun. Can’t delete individual videos. Have to delete everything for the entire day. I also bought Eufy cameras. With the Eufy app, I can download images to my iPhone without granting full access to the photo album. I can delete individual videos. ### 1/5 — Can’t get as cards to work or even be acknowledged. *2025-08-27, version 1.1.2* These are garbage.
