it take a good 5 seconds to show the fonts after clicking on the button. Not a huge issue but really should be a little faster.

Don’t let the other review dissuade you from getting this extension. I’m on Sequoia 15.5 and the extension works exactly like it has on Firefox for years. Easy to identify the fonts and simple to download (if they’re free / on google fonts). You do have to authorise the extension to access the currently open webpage which can be done per website when you need it or for all sites always if you don’t care about the developer and google collecting your usage data. The privacy policy is fairly promising in that they don’t explicitly sell your data to 3rd parties but the extension uses Google APIs so your exposure may vary.

TL;DR - Extension is very useful, simple, clean. Would recommend.

I have used Fonts Ninji for years and it has been very helpful as I sneak around the webernets for the best fonts.

Would be awesome if they also make clear their Privacy Policy (which is atm no done and with no information at Apple).
