I love the cheap calls. ### 2/5 — Poor interface and calls often fail *2022-10-02* I’ve been using this app for a few years and they have done nothing to improve the experience. When you use speaker phone, the person on the other side can hear their own echo. Wheb you come up against a voice prompt, often the dialed does recognise the input when calling over wifi. I’m hanging online for ages sometimes and then I get cut off. This is happening even when my WiFi connection is very good. I actually count myself lucky if I manage to make a call! BUT AS THERE IS A TIME LIMIT ON THE CREDIT ON YOUR ACCOUNT MY MONEY WAS BASICALLY STOLEN FROM ME AND HENCE WILL NOT BE USING ANYMORE ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-04-05* No working I wasted 5 bucks 😡 ### 2/5 — Crap App! *2018-06-07* I’ve had nothing but trouble with Foo Call (I think they’ve since changed ownership?). I had an ongoing unresolved issue with using the Local Number option. It never worked, and for more than a year they’ve been unsuccessfully trying to resolve the problem. My credit kept expiring, and it was being re-instated due to the problem. However, since it expired at end of May 2018, they have not reinstated my $30.** worth of credit. I’ve sent them six emails asking them to, and they haven’t had the courtesy to reply. If you run into problems with Foo Call, don’t expect a speedy resolution, or one at all. With free FaceTime audio of video, I have stopped using. Other times it doesn’t even get as far as that message. I emailed customer services who replied but gave no explanation, assistance or offer to refund credit. Avoid. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2021-07-20* Twice now I have topped up and used for a couple of calls. When I open up again after some time I have little or no credit left! They taking all my money! ### 1/5 — Avoid *2020-03-22* Never seems to work, topped up 2.99 recently, this has gone to £1 straight away. The local number option gives me an error message and the cellular option only works on Wi-fi ### 1/5 — They are set up to take your money *2020-02-23* You can top up the account and after 180 days all that wasn’t used disappears! They take it! Yes the money you earned are taken away for no other reason but Terms and Conditions! It’s not even 12 months like in any other normal business or app. 180 days passes quickly and it’s your job to worry about it as they will take it without even notifying you! Vile practice. Vile company. App might work but it’s ethics are questionable one. ### 1/5 — Money grabbing *2019-10-16* Used to be a great application for international calls, but now they’re implementing predatory money grabbing sales tactics. Once you top up, you have to spend the credit working a month, if you don’t - your credit expires. Uninstalled ### 1/5 — Waste of Money *2019-04-22* I’ve been using this app for a while now and it keeps on playing up. It’s frustration when you have to make an important call abroad and the app just doesn’t work. I’ve asked for a refund and they either ignore your Emails or try and make excuses wanting you to try doing something different. Not worth the hassle get something else. The prices are very low and I’ve got the option to call via WiFi/4G or a local number, however since I’m with Virgin the latter is not available but that’s down to the network provider.
