With all the applications we have to do just about anything this app does not deliver in any valuable way. What you can currently to is rack up points (which I’ve never added up to, well, see if they add up). What I do know is that youll spend far more than getting a measly $100 off your next purchase. Coupons rarely work or cashiers aren’t aware of how to make it take. What could improve the app: making circulars clickable to add to a shopping list. Obviously re-think the rewards system and fix the coupon feature (I mean it’s been a year, thus far, from this review, that an update has been made). Add a way to see previous purchases and points earned during each. Extend point expiration date. Points expiring should even be. They should never expire as you do not know people’s financial situations. Allow points to be added, such as scanning the receipt (or implement a we code system). This feature is for the countless times people forget to scan their codes before paying. When browsing the food bazaar website via the app, make it functional. Such as when browsing the recipe section the ingredient feature should allow one to add them to your coupon/shopping list. Emailing a recipe also should work. Most importantly implement a proper back and forward button. One that does not take you to a starting point but back to the previously viewed page. There’s more but y’all should do some of the thinking too. ### 1/5 — Only useful for Reward Points *2023-05-07, version 2.1* This app is fine if you only use it for Food Bazaar reward points and to see the weekly circular. The coupons in this app do not work! I added a bunch of coupons and they didn’t work at checkout! Very frustrating!!! Not only that, I received said coupon, all for it to disappear without me ever using it. I contact support about it, and they claim I used it. I ask for verification of me actually using it, like a receipt reflecting that, and I get ignored, no response. So essentially, you can spend $5,000 in the store, and receive absolutely nothing. This app is beyond terrible. I still have yet to hear back for anything, because they KNOW they did wrong! Unbelievable ### 1/5 — Horrible. *2023-10-10* Today I went to surprise my dad by buying some groceries at Food Baazar. It’s been a while since I’ve went, I go there get the things me and my father likes drinks included and I go to pay at the register. A Spanish lady who looks as if she’s been working there for a while try’s telling me something in Spanish but I’m an English speaker.. I don’t understand Spanish.. she goes around to the other workers working at the register and embarrasses me in front of everyone making it seem as if im an idiot. Finally a lady stands up for me and speaks to them as two Spanish workers laughs at me for not understanding. The lady tells her to do it without the number I swipe my fathers food stamp card and leave with two big bags in my hand.. I’m a petite 14 year old female, extremely skinny.. I weigh 90 pounds from the lack of food I consume. (I have an undiagnosed eating disorder I believe.) walking out of food Baazar.. no help and I’m being humiliated by the workers in the grocery store, I fell down the stairs on my way back home because the elevator didn’t work for me (it took me straight to the basement we’re construction was being done I immediately took the elevator back up to the first floor and decided to go down the stairs to as of which I fell and popped open my bag of Doritos that I bought along with my other groceries) I had to call my father and sat down for 30 agonizing minutes at the back of the groceries store where cars come by, waiting for my fathers friend to help me with the groceries because I was far too weak to do it myself.. as people walked passed me making fun of me and popping jokes to as of which I fake laughed, if only they knew.. I’m now getting the app to stop that from happening again. But trust me.. I do not condone anything that they’ve done since then. When I was little like around 8-4 this store was family friendly as long as you had food stamps. Now you have to get a rip off app that doesn’t give you any money even if you buy food that ends up being up to $800-1,000.. worthless. You will be seeing me and my fathers face the next time I VISIT. So, basically you cannot use in the same moment that you make your first purchase, but the more that you spend you can accumulate points. I have about 2 years something with my app and it never give me problems, the opposite of problems better this helped me. What more do you need.
