## What is Food Challenge Hub?

The Food Challenge Hub is a global database for food challenges, including details such as description, weight, time limit, prize, location and even leaderboards which link to the eaters profiles. There are regular status check on every challenge making it easy to see which are active. Alongside this is a calendar showing when and where people are taking on food challenges. You can see whats on for any day, for any venue or any eater. Easily find eaters socials to watch their streams. You can easily create a free account allowing you to save challenges and follow eaters or venues to be informed of any updates. As more people use the app, more features will be added such as automatic calendar updates from social media posts, blogs / articles and even competitions. Built by eaters, for eaters.

Renewal reminders can now be sent by email as well as push notification, with an option to turn either off in your profile.

Public calendar of upcoming attempts — verified eaters' planned challenge attempts now show on the shared Calendar automatically; non-verified eaters' attempts go through a quick admin/moderator/venue review first. You can now tap a bell on someone else's upcoming attempt to get notified shortly before they start.
Weight display preference — choose kg or lb for how challenge sizes are shown, in your profile settings.
Leaderboard redesign — each result row now has an expandable detail section (tap the arrow) showing a larger evidence photo, tips, video link, and edit/delete controls, instead of a cluttered single line.
Moderators can now edit any challenge directly (including its Active/Retired lifecycle status) and grant BEL accreditation — previously admin-only.

Fixes
Venue and eater search: fixed a bug where typing could make suggestions disappear and never come back, even for a correctly-typed name.
Follow/unfollow now shows a real error if it fails, instead of silently reverting with no explanation.
Fixed stranded "followers" left behind when someone claims a venue, and "Followed Venues" rows are now tappable.
Fixed a venue-claim bug where the new owner's display name never updated (stuck on the default "New Eater").
Claiming a venue now carries its existing photo over as the new owner's profile picture automatically.
Fixed duo/team challenge wins incorrectly inflating an eater's personal "biggest win" stat.
Several smaller visual fixes: leaderboard rank medal styling, stat box centering on pending challenge cards, and layout polish.

Password reset now works properly from start to finish — tap the link in your email and set a new password right in the app.
Added a one-time welcome message about food challenge safety before you get started.
Tapping a notification now takes you straight to what it's about, instead of just opening the app.
Leaderboard update notifications now tell you who completed the challenge and what place they got.
You can now add a video link to your leaderboard results.
Smarter search when adding a challenge or venue — a small typo or spelling difference won't stop you finding what you're looking for.
Smaller bug fixes and polish throughout.
