The app could definitely use an update and deliver from more restaurants in the area. ### 4/5 — Good service *2020-02-08, version 1.1* Good service. I got exactly what I ordered in a convenient and timely manner, considering the circumstances. I would recommend and will use their services again. Thank you ### 1/5 — Login never works. *2019-09-17, version 1.1* I try to login and it never works until I reset my password. Once I create a new password and try to login it doesn’t work. I have reset my password multiple times in a single day and wrote down my username/ password, three days in a row it still tells me I have an incorrect password. ### 2/5 — Delivery address doesn’t work *2019-09-15, version 1.1* Even though the first page asked you where you want the food delivered to. It will bring your food to your saved address under your account. You should not have to edit your address every time you use the app. If you type in where you want the food delivered to- bring it there. ### 1/5 — One star because I can’t give zero *2019-08-31, version 1.1* I got a free delivery email so I went on the app and entered my address. I kept getting a message that my city was closed. I’m shocked that Food Dudes has the power to close my whole city. I couldn’t get and further after that. I finally had to do a live chat. I found out that due to a lack of drivers, I can’t order food, but I couldn’t get an answer on why I got an offer for free delivery and what to do with my now worthless credit on my account. ### 1/5 — Invalid username *2019-05-29, version 1.1* I have changed my password and my email over and over to try and get the app to pull up my account I have logged in on safari and it work just fine i even saved my username and password in my iPhone so I know I’m putting the right one in and it won’t log into my account I don’t know what’s going on or why the app isn’t working but I’m already deleting it and I just downloaded it today. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Is this an app? *2017-02-24, version 1.0* App resolution size is WAAAAY off. There is no back button when you are in a menu so you have to click on the food dudes logo and re-do your location to select a different store. It doesn't fit on an iPhone screen most of the time. Overall, it's a terrible app at the moment. They picked it up 2 hours ago. Also said my entire city is closed. Terrible app, needs a major update to address major problems. Then you have to enter your physical address, then redirects you into the app, then asks again for your location EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU USE THE APP. Just for the annoyance of the app, I have found myself going to their competitors. Delivery is never a problem, just have to get past the severely old UI and poor design. ### 1/5 — Poor service *2020-12-02, version 1.1* Food has been cold/soggy last couple times I’ve ordered. Emailed them regarding my issue and they asked for a picture (obviously food was already eaten after waiting so long) after informing them all they said was “food was delivered within expected time frame” and nothing more. Thanks food dudes ### 1/5 — Got my order wrong *2020-09-03, version 1.1* I ordered Chinese through food dudes and my order came back wrong. I ordered Kung poa chicken the ingredients listed on their website was chicken, green pepper, green onions, and water chestnuts. The order I got was Kong poa chicken with peanuts in it which I am allergic to. I explained this to the food dudes customer service and they replied with water chestnuts are listed as an ingredient so we can’t give you a refund. Water chestnuts aren’t even nuts so I don’t know where they were going with that. $11 for an entry I can’t even eat. ### 1/5 — Won’t Even Let Me Create an Account *2020-04-02, version 1.1* The app doesn’t even let me create an account. When I try and enter my email address it tells me, “This email address already registered.” Okay...so I try to login using that email and of course it tells me I have the wrong username or password. When I click forgot password it then tells me, “Email address not exist.” Mind-blowing how that works... ### 1/5 — Need later delivery times *2020-01-20, version 1.1* I tried to order a little after 9:30 pm from a restaurant that was open until midnight, but they said it was closed for that restaurant. Seriously!? If I could have given a “0”, I would have!!! Smh!!!! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app, user friendly, good customer service *2025-01-26, version 2.5* I’ve had issues with all the 3rd party delivery companies but I’ve used food dudes in cities I’m able and I’ve been very pleased. If there ever is any issues, the support team works with management to take care of me every time. I , personally, enjoy supporting the local company and they seem to care about me as a customer more than the others. While it doesn’t have as much variety as DoorDash, it doesn’t cost as much. You can still get great service with Food Dudes along with no-contact delivery.
