Wasted too much time walking to a venue (Ma Cocotte) that was nowhere to be found. ### 5/5 — The must have food info for Paris! *2025-09-05, version 2.4* I have used this app or her book for what feels like 25 years. If you love food… You are visiting Paris means you love food… You must get the app!!!! ### 1/5 — No longer updated. Obsolete. *2025-03-11, version 2.4* This app used to be great, and I still use the glossary of menu terms. But the rest of the information has not been updated in years. ### 2/5 — Won’t update. Emails for support rejected *2023-02-18* 2022 review: I have always loved this app, but when I downloaded it to a new iPhone, I lost the 2021 updates that were on my old phone. Frustrating, tho app problems are pretty minor compared to everything else going on on the world right now 2023 update: finally got app to update in mid 2022. But nothing since. Seriously don’t waste your money (or be surprised when you find the $5 bill for this app) ### 2/5 — Feels amateur at best *2019-06-27, version 2.1* I was excited about this guide but I ended up using Google restaurant searches and David Lebowitz’s blog for better suggestions. Half the time her reviews feel half hearted. She only ate one thing at the restaurant and looked over people’s shoulders to “review” what they ate. This is not the work of a food writer. It is really disappointing. Super easy to search and her recommendations are solid.
