### 5/5 — Helping one step at a time

*2026-06-29*

I’ve been dealing with an ED for almost a year now, and this app/community has really help me feel way better about my ED, and have gave me great tips to recover from it. The app has helped with urges using the “Urge button” when I would get the urge and help me sooth down. The discord community is really inclusive and welcoming as well!

### 5/5 — Really helps me!!

*2026-06-29*

I struggle with over eating and emotional eating a lot, I used to use it as a coping mechanism for stressful or sad situations. But this app is such an amazing toolkit for me to use to resist the urge. In addition to having access to so many tools to prevent binge eating, such as: the ability to block certain apps that are triggers, as well as having access to guides on what to do when the urge to mindlessly eat hits. The discord is also full of lovely people and provides me with a nice sense of community. I am so lucky that I have this app and group of like-minded people that also want to change their mindset.

### 5/5 — Extremely helpful!

*2026-06-12*

I’ve actually found this app really helpful with recovery. It makes me feel more aware of my habits without feeling judged. I like that it focuses on building a healthier relationship with food and helps quiet the stress and guilt. It really does feel supportive and realistic, which has made a big difference for me.

### 5/5 — Tool of somebody who builds a community

*2026-06-09*

I don’t have this app for long but it’s already a good feeling to know there are more people out there. People you can talk to. And also the tools inside are good. I have thousand notes but I never look at them if needed. This app is handy.

### 5/5 — Happy this exists

### 5/5 — Wonderful recognition and support for overlooked issue

*2026-05-29*

Really struggle with food and have my whole life. Ive been grasping for a healthy relationship with it for just as long and still havent succeeded for over ten years. Most things are quick fixes that ive tried and ended up falling into old habits. This app has given me the tools and community that i need to get through this. Im feeling very hopeful for future progress

### 5/5 — HIGHLY RECOMMEND

### 5/5 — Feeling better than I have in a while

*2026-03-22*

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for Food Noise. This app has honestly been such a game changer for me. There are so many helpful tools that actually feel realistic to use in everyday life and are not overwhelming or confusing.

The community is also what really makes it special. Everyone is so supportive and it makes me feel a lot less alone in something that used to feel really isolating.

I’ve been feeling better than I have in a long time and I really credit this app for that. I recommend it to anyone who’s even a little curious

### 5/5 — 5 STARS!!!

Nothing I've tried in the past has worked until I came across FoodNoise. The community is unbelievable and so supportive. 5 STARS!!!

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2026-03-22*

I am finding this app to be an extremely helpful tool. I was on a GLP1 and now that I’m off the food noise is insane! This app is helping me with this transition!

### 5/5 — Very impressed

*2026-03-21*

Just started using this app and I’m honestly really impressed so far. The UI is super clean and easy to navigate, and everything feels really intentional. nothing cluttered or overwhelming, which is huge for something centered around food habits.

The user experience is smooth and well thought out. You can tell a lot of care went into how everything flows, and it actually makes it feel approachable instead of stressful. I also really like the overall aesthetic. it feels modern and calming.

the structure already feels solid. I can see how this is going to help me stay more organized throughout the week and take some of the mental pressure off constantly thinking about food. It feels like something I can rely on, which is a big deal.

Excited to keep using it and see how it evolves. definitely a strong start.

### 5/5 — Good noise

### 5/5 — Thank you!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Greedy

*2026-07-31*

I swear these mental health apps are so greedy. Yeah, we're gonna have to make u pay to recover. Forget it. And although u can scroll ALLLLL the way down to see if there are any in-app purchases, being more upfront about having to pay for any kind of help would be nice and wouldn't lead to people getting their hopes up thinking today is gonna be the day they can recover. Just a BS app. Good job capitalizing on people's struggles, would honestly just pay for therapy 👎

### 1/5 — DONT DOWNLOAD

*2026-06-10*

You download - it asks you a bunch of personal questions and makes you fill out and sign a bunch of stuff and then it try’s to make you pay a bunch of money - it try’s to get you by saying your not “showing up for yourself” if you don’t get it. Don’t waist your time

Thanks for the response - when it comes to making habits like stopping binge eating - it takes more than 2 days (the length of your “free trial”) to figure out if that works for you. Also there was no transparency about the price, the issue is making people spend their time filling out extremely personal info just to manipulate them into giving you their money before even giving them an idea of what your providing.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share this. The price is shown by Apple before any trial or purchase begins, and the onboarding questions have one purpose, which is to personalize your plan. You are right that three days cannot change a long term habit. The trial exists so you can explore the tools, the blocker, and the community and decide whether the approach fits you. We are at support@foodnoise.app if we can help with anything, and we wish you well either way!

### 1/5 — Tired of paying

*2026-06-04*

Look. I will pay 100%, but to give you 3 days and then you have to pay? Weight issues are the most scammy health issue out there so I have no trust. And I am so tired of gambling with my money.

### 1/5 — Annoying set up

*2026-05-24*

Extremely annoying set up.

**Developer response:** We appreciate your honest feedback! We've already updated the onboarding to be much smoother and the latest version simplifies the whole setup process. Feel free to give it another shot after updating, we think you'll notice the difference. If you run into anything else, you can reach us at support@foodnoise.app.

### 5/5 — Impressed

*2026-08-27*

Have had this app since March and it’s helped a lot with my recovery. Community is very supportive

### 5/5 — Really helped me when I felt like I hit rock bottom

*2026-08-01*

The community is amazing and is really making a change. Not feeling alone, positive non judgmental feedback. And Jon the founder of the app is really engaged and giving his all to support people on their way to a healthier mindset.

### 5/5 — Love!!

*2026-07-30*

As someone who has struggled with binge eating for a few years, I was really ashamed to talk about it with anyone out of fear of being judged. This app has really been so helpful in connecting me with a community of people who can relate to what i’m going through, as well as helping me get to know myself better and actually identify my triggers. I love this app and i’ve been so much better because of it!!

### 5/5 — Grateful

*2026-07-20*

This is a tool I didn’t realize I needed for an issue I’ve been facing almost daily for over 40 years. To have tools and community to guide and support is a blessing. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2026-07-16*

This app has the most active and uplifting community for binge eating struggles that I’ve seen. I can tell that whoever made this genuinely wants people to stop binging. There are an abundance of tools that I use daily as well and I seem to learn something new every time I open the community or app. I am always skeptical about these kinds of apps, but I gave it a chance and I’m pleasantly surprised. I have hope.

### 5/5 — Super helpful

*2026-07-13*

I’ve had this app for over 2 months and it’s genuinely the best binge eating support app by far. It’s not even close. Thank you!

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Cool app

*2026-07-11*

Love this app

### 5/5 — Problems with logging in

*2026-07-09*

The app seems promising but I can’t get past the notification allowance. It just doesn’t load after that.

### 5/5 — Thoughtful, well-designed tool for recovery

*2026-07-08*

I was pleasantly surprised by what a thoughtful and well-designed tool this is for anyone who is currently trying to recover from binge eating disorder. The app itself is a curated set of tools to support users in any stage of their journey. The social community is a hidden gem that compliments the app really well. Users can share their successes, challenges, and feedback there. I am impressed by how well moderated and responsive the developer is. They’re very clear that this is not a substitute for medical care but a good way to support recovery. Grateful for this work!

### 5/5 — So grateful

*2026-07-07*

Best binge eating support app I’ve tried by far. It has a supportive and active community and useful and quite useful tools that help me stop a binge and just learn how to stop in general. Happy that I’ve found this!
